Essential Eligibility Condition Common for All Railway Exams
For RRB Online Application, the foremost eligibility condition is that every candidate must possess the Nationality / Citizenship. The candidate who aspires to apply for various posts of Railways must fulfill the following conditions:
Must be the citizen of India.
Must be Subject of Nepal.
Must be Subject of Bhutan.
Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 to be settled permanently in India.
A person of Indian origin migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, the United republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Uganda, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
RRB NTPC Eligibility Criteria 2017
RRB Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC) Exam is conducted for various categories which are mentioned below.
1.Commercial Apprentice (CA).
2.Traffic Apprentice (TA).
3. Assistant Station Master (ASM).
4. Senior Clerk-Cum Typist.
5.Enquiry- Cum-Reservation.
6.Goods Guards.
7.Junior Accounts Assistant.
8.Traffic Assistant.
9.Senior Time Keeper.
The Eligibility Criteria for these categories of RRB NTPC Exam includes 4 factors.

RRB NTPC Age Limit
The age limit for the candidates who want to apply for the Railway NTPC Exam should not be less than 18 years and not more than 32 years.
The age limit of RRB NTPC is calculated as on 1st January 2017. This is common age limit criteria for all posts under RRB NTPC which are mentioned above.
Age Relaxation to Various RRB NTPC categories
As per the RRB Notifications issued by the Railway Officials, the age relaxation is also provided to some reserved categories in the upper age limit. The details of the age relaxation as per the category are listed below.

RRB NTPC Educational Qualification
The Educational Qualification for RRB NTPC Exam depends on as per the post you are applying for. Along with the basic qualification of Graduation Degree from recognized University, some posts of NTPC also require Typing Proficiency Skills and for this, the candidate must possess the Typing Certificate to apply for that post.

RRB NTPC Medical Fitness Criteria
The candidates selected for appointments at various RRB NTPC posts should pass the Medical fitness test, to ensure that they are medically fit to carry out the duties. The most important Eligibility criteria is the Visual Acuity Standards or eye-sight. The Medical Fitness Criteria depends upon the posts you are going to apply for. RRB Assistant Loco Pilot Eligibility
All those applicants who wish to settle their career in Indian Railway department can apply for RRB ALP recruitment 2017 but to apply for RRB ALP Exam, first you need to check the RRB loco pilot eligibility. RRB Assistant Loco Pilot Eligibility depends on three factors.

RRB Loco Pilot Educational Qualification
The candidate needs to complete the ITI (approved by NCVT/SCVT) in any specific trade to apply for this post.
Candidates who have completed diploma in engineering are also eligible and should have completed minimum 10th standard from recognized board.
RRB Loco Pilot Age Limit
The minimum age of the aspiring candidate should be 18 to 30 years.
RRB Loco Pilot Medical Standards
The Medical Standards required for RRB ALP Exam requires Loco running men/railway drivers to have the highest standard of medical fitness.
This medical standard has to be maintained from the period of joining and up to the end of the career as Railway driver.
RRB Junior Engineer/ Senior Section Engineer Eligibility Criteria
Railway Recruitment Board recruits eligible Engineers for the posts of RRB Junior Engineer, Senior Section Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent, Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant, Chief Depot Material Superintendent.
Candidates should first fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria as specified by Railway Board to apply for both RRB Junior Engineer eligibility & Senior Section Engineer Eligibility Criteria.

RRB JE| SSE Age limit
The age limit of the candidate applying for Junior Engineer post should be between 18-25 years of age and for Senior Section the age limit is 20- 34 years.

Railway RRC Group D Eligibility
The candidates who are willing to appear for the RRC Group D exam must fulfill all the RRC Group D eligibility conditions given below.
Railway Group D Educational Qualification
RRC Group D eligibility used to be as 10th pass or ITI or equivalent or National Apprenticeship by NCVT which has been changed now by Railway Recruitment Board.
As per the changes in Railway Group D eligibility, the minimum educational qualification for recruitment is 10th Pass plus ITI or 10th Pass plus National Apprenticeship by NCVT.

Railway Group D Age limit
The candidate’s age must be between 18 to 31 years. There are some age relaxations provided based on the category.
RRC Group D Age Relaxation
The Age Relaxation for Railway Group D Post is same as RRB JE – SSE Age relaxation.
Railway Group D Physical Test Eligibility
There are some physical Standards set by Railway Board for the post of Railway Group D.
For Male Candidates: Male candidates should be able to run 1000 metres in 4 minutes and 15 seconds in one chance.
For Female candidates: Female candidates should be able to run 400 metres in 3 minutes and 10 seconds in one chance.
For PWD candidates: PWD candidates are exempted from Physical Test.
