Validity Period:
The UGC NET Certificate for the award of Junior Research fellowship remains valid till 2 years from the date of declaration the Result or issuing the certificates.
The Certificate for Lectureship has no such validation limit.
How to Download UGC NET e-Certificate? [Step by Step Procedure]
During the UGC NET Online Application Form Filling Procedure, all the necessary information about the candidate will be captured, including their personal details, academic details, photograph, signature & essential documents. The information will later be used for the award of these e-certificates once the results are announced.
The candidates who have qualified the CBSE NET Exam & wish to download their UGC Certificates must follow the step by step procedure given below –
Step-1: Visit the official link – Download UGC NET e-Certificate.
Step-2: As soon as you’ll click on the above link, a page containing the login form will appear on the screen.
Step-3: Here the candidates must enter all the required details accurately and click on Login Button to download their certificates.
Step-4: After clicking on the login button, the UGC NET e-Certificate will appear on the screen. Candidates must download it and take its print out for future use.

Failed to Receive the UGC NET e-Certificate? Here’s the Solution!
The candidates who had failed to receive the UGC Certificates must send a request letter at the following address:
The Head, NET Bureau, UGC, South Campus, University of Delhi, Benito Juarez Marg., New Delhi 110 021.
In their covering letter, they must state their Roll No., the date of UGC-NET Exam in which they have appeared and UGC-Ref. No. (incase known to them). The cover letter should be sent along with the following documents:
Documents to be attached with the Cover Letter:
Attested copies of following documents should be submitted to the UGC –
High School/Higher Secondary/Matriculation Certificate depicting date of birth.
Master’s degree/Provisional Certificate.
Consolidated Mark-Sheet of Master’s Degree Course. (Wherever grades are assigned, conversion table in terms of consolidated percentage may be produced from the issuing authority).
Caste certificate (only in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates).
Certificate of Physical disability (only in case of Physically Handicapped and Visually Handicapped candidates).
Important Points to be Considered with regards to documents:
All the certificates must be attested by a gazetted officer with his/her official stamp bearing his/her name, designation and official address.
The certificates, which are in languages other than Hindi and English, may be translated in Hindi or English and attested by the issuing authority of the original certificates.
Important Instruction: Read the UGC NET Eligibility Criteria carefully! If you don’t fulfill the criteria even after qualifying the exam, your candidature may be cancelled.
Loss/Damage of UGC NET e-Certificate | How to get its Duplicate Copy?
In case of loss/damage to the original UGC NET Certificate, the candidates may get its duplicate copy from the University Grants Commission. They need to follow the below steps to re-gain their certificate –
Step-1: The candidates must submit an affidavit on a Judicial stamp paper duly attested by the competent Authority for the loss of original certificate issued by the UGC mentioning the –
Name of the Candidate
His/her Father’s and Mother’s Names
Date of UGC-NET Exam
Roll Number
Subject
Address etc.
The candidate must state in the affidavit that in case of his/her discovering the original NET certificate/JRF Award letter, he/she would not misuse it and return it to the NET Bureau.
Step-2: The candidates need to attach a demand draft of INR 100/- drawn in favor of the Secretary, University Grants Commission, New Delhi payable at State Bank of India, Service Branch, (Code No. 7687), New Delhi along with the affidavit.
Step-3: An attested Copy of FIR registered at a Police Station. The Attestation stamp of the Class-I gazetted officer must bear his/her name, designation, and official address should also be there along with the affidavit & demand draft.
Step-4: Send all the required documents at the following address:
