The Institute of Physics, Bhubaneswar is an autonomous institute which is funded jointly by Department of Atomic Energy under approval of Government of Orissa. The institute was established in the year of 1972 by the Government of Orissa. From 1974 to 1981, the Institute functioned in rented buildings and moved to its present campus in 1981. On March 25,1985, the Institute was taken up by the Department of Atomic Energy.

Age Limit: The age criteria for both posts are between 18-40 years.

Educational Qualification:

System Manger:

• The candidate should be B.E/ B. Tech in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Electronics &Telecommunication.
• Also the candidate must have M. Sc in Computer Science with 60 % marks in aggregate of equivalent CGPA.

Librarian:

• The candidate must have B. Sc with M. Lib & Inf. Sc. With 55 % marks, NET pass or experience in relevant field is essential.
• Also candidate must have experience of two years in analogous position.

Pay Scale: Pay Scale of candidate for both post are 15600 – 39100/- & Grade Pay 5400/-
