Who Are We?

Our award-winning accredited beauty school is on a mission to produce salon-ready graduates. That is why we provide lessons in business techniques as well as the usual beauty training. Located in the Phoenix area, we have three campuses for you to choose from. We focus on building driven and confident individuals so they can take on the beauty industry. By providing training and hands-on practice, our programs help students learn practical skills they can apply to real-world situations.

We want to set our students up for success both in school and after graduation! This is why each program follows Pivot Point’s extensive curriculum and includes business training. Pivot Point is known for its unique approach in teaching future stylists a design perspective in their craft, something we hope to instill in our students!

Our Esthetics Program

In the ever-changing and exciting world of skincare, esthetics students can learn everything it takes to help others feel good in their own skin. Our instructors can teach you about the science behind skincare, and the techniques needed to perform various facial and body treatments. Some services you can learn include:

• • Makeup application and techniques: Learn the different techniques for various events and celebrations like weddings, Halloween, and more!
  • Facials: Help clients attain the glowing skin they want, while they relax and enjoy some self-care.
  • Eyebrow/eyelash tinting: Some people have thin or light-colored hair, which means eyebrows/eyelashes may not be the desired look they want. This service helps them achieve that look.
  • Body waxing: Get rid of unwanted hair to help your clients look and feel their best!
  • And more!

Our *student spa allows you to practice these skills on real-world clients to gain the experience you need after graduation. It’s a great way for you to practice your skincare and client communication skills while still enrolled in school. Our esthetics spa is designed for ultimate relaxation with soothing music and a luxuriously calm atmosphere. Each service also includes a consultation with a licensed educator, so clients can be sure to get the results they want! Contact the location nearest you to schedule now.

How Long Does It Take to Graduate?

Studying for any educational path can be overwhelming as they are often major time commitments. But unlike the traditional 4-year college plan, many beauty programs can take much less time to complete. To become a licensed esthetician in Arizona, you must complete at least 600 hours of coursework before graduation. 

The Studio Academy of Beauty offers both full-time and part-time courses so you can find the right fit for your schedule. The time it takes to complete your coursework in esthetics depends on the course you choose. As a full-time student, it will typically take you as little as 4 and 6 months to complete your education. Attending school part-time, can take as long as 9 to 12 months. While this is a big time commitment, you can get started on your future much quicker than the traditional 4-year college degree.

Do We Offer Financial Aid?

Not every beauty school can or will offer financial aid, which is why it’s so important to enroll at an accredited school. Studio Academy of Beauty is an accredited beauty school that offers various financial aid options to those who qualify. These include IV Grants and Loans, or GI Educational benefits. Don’t let paying for your tuition prevent you from fulfilling your dream of being in the beauty industry. 

Title IV Grants and Loans

We are certified by the Department of Education to offer Pell Grants and Direct Student Loans to those that qualify. To find out if you qualify, apply for FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and use our school code: 041529.

The Studio Academy of Beauty also offers its own Institutional Loan program and works with Mountain America Credit Union to help you make your educational pursuit affordable. Our Title IV grant can apply to our cosmetology and esthetics programs.
