Re-Opening The Studio Academy of Beauty

We are grateful for the opportunity to provide online education to our students during the past few months. We will continue to provide our curriculum online when necessary, as the safety of our students and guests is our number one priority. We will be continuing to adjust and evaluate our protocols to best protect our students as more COVID-19 updates arise.

We are tentatively opening our doors for some students by June 1st. We will be contacting our current students to cover new procedures during this time of what changes will be made to classes and our curriculum to keep everyone safe.

Our mission is to provide a good education our students come to expect from The Studio Academy of Beauty. In order to do this, we want to move to in-person learning as soon as we can. Here are the changes we are making to the education and services provided at each of our Arizona locations.

We Strive To Keep Our Students Safe

As we transition back from an online curriculum to in-person classes once more, we are implementing certain protocols to keep our students and staff safe. We are following guidelines set by the Department of Health. Some of the changes students can expect to see are:

  • All students and staff must wear masks while in the school.
  • We will follow appropriate social distancing protocols wherever possible.
  • The salon will be accepting debit or credit cards only, no cash.
  • We will increase sanitation procedures in our classrooms and salon.
  • We request students who are feeling flu symptoms to stay home.

If you have any questions or concerns about what we’re doing to keep our students safe, please reach out to the location closest to you to get more information.

New Policies for Guest Services

We have a tentative date to open our student salon on June 15th, where all services are provided by students under the supervision of licensed professionals. As part of your appointment, we will be making these changes:

  • All students, staff, and guests will be required to wear masks.
  • All students, staff, and guests will have their temperature taken before entering the building.
  • Guests must wait in their car, and we will send a text when their stylist is available.
  • Services must be paid for by card, no cash.
  • If you are not feeling well or have flu-like symptoms, we ask that guests reschedule their appointment.

Along with these changes, we will also be using CDC-approved cleaner to disinfect all work stations between services. This cleaner will also be used to disinfect all areas that are commonly touched, such as doorknobs, counters, and bathrooms.

We appreciate your support of our students and patience as we continue to implement these changes to keep everyone safe. If you would like to schedule an appointment, you can fill out our form or call the location you’d like to schedule an appointment at.

Are You Interested in Starting an Education in Beauty

We are still here for current and future students and would love to get in touch with those who are wanting to become a beauty professional. If you have a passion for cosmetology, esthetics, and more, talk to us to see how we can help you get started.

As we’re starting to open our doors again, you can schedule a virtual tour or pick a time to come into our school and learn how you can start an education in beauty.
