Working Remotely

While pre-pandemic there were many opportunities for remote work, post-pandemic has seen an exponential increase.  Moving to remote work may happen through a job, or it may be people choose a new career because they can work remotely.  When searching online for remote jobs, it was amazing what came up!  Interestingly enough, even searching remote jobs helping people, the coaching profession wasn’t there!  Wow – second-fastest growing profession in the world, done primarily remotely, and it isn’t on the lists?

Even pre-pandemic, 80% of coaching was on the phone.  Now, with the growth of online meeting platforms, very little coaching is done face-to-face.

As a remote work opportunity, coaching is amazing.  Commonly, while as much as 50% of your time is invested in managing the business, the time working with people is wonderful.  As coaches we have the privilege of partnering with clients while they create their path forward personally and professionally.

An interesting twist is that coaching is a service for remote workers.  Work remotely to support those who work remotely!

Expand that thought: coaches work with leaders who have remote teams.  Coaches work with teams of remote workers too.

Whether seeking a new career or an after career, explore coaching if you enjoy helping people plus want freedom and flexibility in where and when you work.
