Recruitment guide on the post of Teacher for various subjects
Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) conducts objective type competitive exam to recruit candidates for the post of senior teacher under Rajasthan Education Department.
RPSC Eligibility Criteria:
Age Criteria for all posts: 18 years to 35 years.
For Maths, English, Hindi, Sanskrit and Urdu: Graduation degree in concerned Subject + B. Ed. (Special Education).
OR
B. Ed + 2 Year Diploma in Special Education
For Science: Candidate must have studied any two subjects from these subjects: Physics, chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Micro Biology, Bio Technology and Bio Chemistry + B. Ed. (Special Education)
OR
B. Ed + 2 Year Diploma in Special Education
For Social Science: Graduation with any two subjects as main or optional History, Geography, Economics, Political Science, Sociology, Public Administration and Philosophy and B. Ed. (Special Education)
OR
B. Ed + 2 Year Diploma in Special Education.
Exam Pattern for Paper-I:
Maximum Questions / Exam Duration: 100 questions/ 2 hours
(i) Geographical, Historical, Cultural and general knowledge of Rajasthan: 80 marks
(ii) Current Affairs of Rajasthan: 20 marks
(iii) General knowledge of world and India: 60 marks
(iv) Educational Psychology: 40 marks
Total marks: 200
Exam Pattern for Paper-II:
Maximum Questions / Exam Duration: 150 questions/ 2 hours 30 minutes
(i) Knowledge of secondary and senior secondary standard about relevant subject matter: 180 marks
(ii) knowledge of graduation standard about relevant subject matter: 80 marks
(iii) Teaching methods of relevant subject: 40 marks
Total Marks: 300
