The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), statutory authority of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, has recently announced that it is now offering PVC Plastic Aaadhaar cards in the form of visiting cards with a number of new security features like Digital Signed QR Code and Hologram. The cardholders can apply for this new PVC Aadhar cards online following a few simple steps and paying an amount of Rupees 50/-. The card will be sent to the owner via speed post.
