It's been a while since I wrote in this blog. I have shared episodes of my podcast, but I haven't written. I tried. I sat down many times intending to post a blog article and just stared at the screen.
How do we put into words the struggles, frustrations, and fears of this unprecedented time? I found I could do that aloud on the podcast when talking with co-host Alison Kentos. I was also able to express myself when talking with people on Zoom or even when answering interview questions. Sitting alone and trying to sort out my thoughts was another matter.
Just like these times are unique, I realized, my blog can be very different than the norm. It can be a catalyst for more discussion and thought. It can be a place we share in the comments here and on social media. In this time when no one has the answers because there is no history like this to draw lessons from, I can introduce topics and let you all take it from there. Kind of like this...
I wonder what will Happen with this generation after COVID-19?

LET'S TALK...
- Some Children love being home and will struggle to rejoin others when this is all finally over.
- Some children are in dangerous situations and desperately need to get back to a safer place.
- Some children miss being with peers and family. They are confused and scared.
- Some children have witnessed family stress and all that it causes.
- Some children have seen their families be heroes.
- Some children have participated in heroics.
- Some children will have to spend time being told not to share.
- Some children will be told that their families decided to keep them home when others return.
- They can't see our faces behind masks.
- They can see our eyes, though.
What do you wonder about what will happen with this generation after COVID-19? Can they emerge better than the generations before?
