Lieutenant Commander Naresh Kumar (1996-2003 Batch), Commissioned Officer, Indian Navy

Lt Cdr Naresh Kumar (1996-2003 batch) comes from a family with a strong farming background in the beautiful village of Nimoth (Rewari, Haryana). In 2005, he joined the esteemed Indian Navy as an Artificer Apprentice in the Technical Cadre. His dedication and hard work led him to be commissioned as a Sub Lieutenant in 2013. Lt Cdr Naresh Kumar is a distinguished graduate of the renowned Indian Naval Academy in Ezhimala.

During his training, Lt Cdr Naresh Kumar’s exceptional performance earned him the Bronze medal at the passing out parade in May 2013. This coveted recognition was awarded to him for securing the third position in the overall order of merit. The then Defence Minister, Mr AK Antony, presented him with this prestigious honor. With a degree in Electrical Engineering, Lt Cdr Naresh Kumar continues to serve as an Electrical Officer in the Indian Navy and is currently posted in Mumbai. His commitment and expertise contribute to the strength and success of the Indian Navy.
