Posse Scholarship Annual Timeline

The Posse foundation has a different timetable depending on where you are from and where you want to apply. However, some essential times are the same no matter where you are in the city, such as,

  • Nominations are accepted between the end of your junior high school year and the summer before you become an adult.
  • Dynamic Assessment is a process that takes place during the first semester of senior year between September and December.
  • Depending on the city, the Posse student award ceremony takes place around the middle of December or at the beginning of January.
  • Posse scholars then participate in two-to-three-hour weekly courses offered at the organization’s local headquarters from January through August. The workshops emphasize academic success, cross-cultural collaboration, leadership development, and team building. During these workshops, kids choose their high school, university, and major.
  • During their schooling Students who get awards have access to tutors as well as an academic advisor, with whom they meet one-on-one each week. Students meet with their tutor twice a week as a group.
