The most promiscuous countries: Average number of sexual partners people have in Australia, the UK, America and Asia revealed

Australia has been labelled as the most promiscuous and sexually-open country in the world. 

A worldwide study looked at 45 countries’ sexual habits and gave each a Global Promiscuity Index score with Australia coming out on top.

It weighed up six factors including the number of Sexual Partners, rate of sexually transmitted diseases, mean age people lost their virginity and attitudes towards prostitution and premarital sex. 

According to NapLab, Australians were found to have the second highest number of sexual partners behind Turkey, with the average sitting at 13.3. 

The mean age Aussies lost their virginity and started engaging in sexual activity sat at 17.9.

Australia is the most promiscuous country in the world according to a new study that looked at factors including the age people lost their virginity and average number of sexual partners 

When surveyed about their opinions on premarital sex, Australians were very lax with 81 per cent thinking the act was morally acceptable or not a moral issue.

Thankfully, despite Australians’ willingness to jump into bed, the rate of STDs was on the lower end of the scale. 

The prevalence of sexually transmitted diseases counted towards the promiscuity score with 14,545 out of 100,000 Aussies reported being affected. 

South Africa had the highest number of STDs with a rate of 32,054 out of 100,00.

Prostitution and premarital sex is legal in Australia increasing the availability and acceptance of promiscuity.

The only countries where sex before marriage is illegal are Malaysia and Indonesia who ranked 43 and 44 out of 45 on the chart respectively.

With all factors considered Aussies earned an impressive index score of 360.14 in front of Brazil with 340.66.

People in Iceland had the youngest age of which people lost their virginity at 15.6 while Turkey had the highest amount of sexual partners at 14.5. 

India was the least promiscuous country earning low score across all six factors.

People in India had the lowest rate of STDs in the world, highest age in which people lost their virginity and fewest sexual partners.
