WB Kanyashree Project Scheme 2023

Under West Bengal Kanyashree Prakalpa Yojana, girls of West Bengal will get financial assistance for their education. The main objective of this scheme is to ensure that girls get education at least till the age of 18 years and delay their marriage. Through this scheme, girls will not only get education but their life and condition will also improve. Under West Bengal Kanyashree, Prakalp, financial assistance will be provided to those girls who are in the age group of 13 years to 18 years and enrolled in class 8th to 12th. There is also an income criteria to apply for this scheme but this income criteria does not apply to girls with special needs, orphans and girls from JJ homes.

पश्चिम बंगाल कन्याश्री प्रकल्प योजना के तहत पश्चिम बंगाल की लड़कियों को उनकी शिक्षा के लिए वित्तीय सहायता मिलेगी। इस योजना का मुख्य उद्देश्य यह सुनिश्चित करना है कि लड़कियों को कम से कम 18 वर्ष की आयु तक शिक्षा मिले और उनकी शादी में देरी हो। इस योजना के माध्यम से लड़कियों को न केवल शिक्षा मिलेगी बल्कि उनके जीवन और स्थिति में भी सुधार होगा। पश्चिम बंगाल कन्याश्री, प्रकल्प के तहत उन लड़कियों को वित्तीय सहायता प्रदान की जाएगी जो 13 वर्ष से 18 वर्ष की आयु वर्ग की हैं और 8वीं से 12वीं कक्षा में नामांकित हैं। इस योजना के लिए आवेदन करने के लिए एक आय मानदंड भी है लेकिन यह आय मानदंड विशेष आवश्यकता वाली लड़कियों, अनाथों और जेजे घरों की लड़कियों पर लागू नहीं होता है।

The following people will be selected in this scheme:-

• One-time grant is given to about 3.5 lakh girls every year in West Bengal
• For lump sum grant, those girls who complete 18 years of age on or after 1st April 2020 are eligible.
• Girls regularly attend institutions for education or vocational/sports training
• Every year about 18 lakh girl students get annual scholarship.
• Girls in the age group of 13 to 19 years from families with annual income up to Rs. 1,20,000/-.
• J.J. Girls from child care institutions registered under. Serve the age group of 18-19 years

Eligibility Criteria & Rewards

The applicant must follow the following Eligibility Criteria & Rewards in this scholarship:-

Annual scholarship (K1 Level)

1. The student applying for this scholarship must be a native of West Bengal.
2. He must be unmarried
3. The family income of the student should be less than or equal to Rs. ₹ 1,20,000 per year
4. Student’s age should be between 13 to 17 years
5. The age of the student should not be more than 18 years as this will make him ineligible for the annual scholarship benefit and he will be able to avail the scholarship benefit only once.
6. The student must be enrolles in a government recognized regular or equivalent school between class 8 to class 12 or must be pursuing an equivalent vocational or any other technical training course.
7. The family income limit will vary in the following situations: The student is already a recipient of the scholarship and will be applying for renewal of benefits, The student’s parents (both father and mother) are deceased, The student is physically handicapped Is.

Rewards: Rs. 750 per year

One-Time Grant (K2 Level)

The student applying for this scholarship must be a native of West Bengal and must be unmarried on attaining the age of 18 years. The family earning of the students should be less than or equal to Rs. ₹ 1,20,000 per annum Applicant female student must be enrolled and regularly attending a higher education or training institution Family income criteria for female applicants may vary only in the following cases: The student’s parents (father and Both mothers) are physically disabled students are dead.

Kanyashree Scholarship (K3 Level)

Only students registered for K2 scheme will be eligible for K3 scheme. There is no age limit to apply. The student must have passed Bachelor’s degree with at least 45% marks. He must have taken admission in postgraduate course in any university.

Rewards:- Science stream students – Rs. 2500 per month Arts stream students – Rs. 2000 per month

Types of Kanyashree Application

• ताजा K1: हल्के हरे कागज पर मुद्रित वार्षिक छात्रवृत्ति आवेदन पत्र।
• ताजा K2: हल्के नीले कागज पर मुद्रित एकमुश्त अनुदान आवेदन पत्र को K2 कहा जाता है।
• नवीनीकरण: जिन लड़कियों को कम से कम एकमुश्त अनुदान प्राप्त हुआ है और उनकी उम्र अभी भी 18 वर्ष से कम है, उन्हें नवीनीकरण के लिए आवेदन करने की आवश्यकता नहीं है।
• अपग्रेड: जिन लड़कियों को कम से कम एकमुश्त अनुदान प्राप्त हुआ है और उनकी उम्र 28 वर्ष से अधिक है, उन्हें नवीनीकरण के लिए K2 आवेदन पत्र फिर से जमा करना होगा।

कन्याश्री प्लस

लड़कियों को बाल विवाह और लिंग आधारित भेदभाव जैसी सामाजिक बुराइयों से बचाने के लिए उन्हें आर्थिक सहायता प्रदान करना पर्याप्त नहीं है। सामाजिक मानदंडों और संरचनात्मक बाधाओं को बदलने के लिए कन्याश्री प्लस नामक पूर्ण कैश प्लस कार्यक्रम का गठन किया गया है। कन्याश्री प्लस एक कार्यक्रम है जिसे किशोरियों को सशक्त बनाने के साथ-साथ सामाजिक परिवर्तन के लिए ज्ञान कौशल और दृष्टिकोण पर काम करने के उद्देश्य से बनाया गया है।

कन्याश्री प्लस के तहत, लगभग 12,000 स्कूलों और 116776 सामुदायिक केंद्रों में लड़कियों के समूह बनाए गए हैं, जिनमें 78.81 लाख किशोर लड़कियां शामिल हैं। इन समूहों को कन्याश्री समूह कहा जाता है जिनके नेताओं को भागीदारी प्रशिक्षण पद्धतियों और रुचि के विषयों में प्रशिक्षित किया जाता है। इतना ही नहीं, किशोर लड़कियों की भलाई को बनाए रखने के लिए सरकार के आउटरीच कार्यकर्ता माता-पिता और भाई-बहनों, अन्य युवा समूहों, समुदाय के प्रभावशाली लोगों, विशेष रूप से धार्मिक नेताओं और स्थानीय सरकारी प्रशासकों को भी प्रभावित करना चाहते हैं।

Application process under Kanyashree Scholarship

The application process to apply for the scholarship is given below:-

• First go to Kanyashree website
• Click on the registration button.
• Tick the ‘To declare that I have read the instructions properly and I agree to follow them’ checkbox.
• Click on proceed
• A popup will appear requesting minority students applying for new scholarship or renewal to apply on the following portal
• Click the Close button
• Enter all details
• Username and password will be generates
• Click on the Login tab
• Enter Applicant ID and Password
• Click on submit button
• Account dashboard will be displayed on your screen
• Click on the Edit Profile/Application tab
• Fill the basic details, qualifying examination, current course, current institute address in the application form
• Upload your scanned photograph and signature
• Click Save and Continue
• Submit your bank details with Bank Name, IFSC Code, Branch Code, Account Number, MICR Code.

Who is eligible for Kanyashree Scholarship?
