The salary expectation range for this role is $131,000 – $158,000.

Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate for this role will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Coordinate the social media publishing schedule closely with the Content and communications team to ensure the community stays well-informed, the brand grows, and key go-to-market strategies are reinforced.
  • Regularly monitor social media platforms to gather user feedback, highlight community achievements, and gauge community sentiment that could provide valuable insights to internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate within an integrated newsroom-style setup alongside Content and PR teams to synergize resources and craft comprehensive campaigns for product launches, open-source releases, events, and other endeavors.
  • Craft and refine posts for official company social media accounts and offer suggestions for employee social media sharing while also creating an internal social media style guide to enhance brand consistency across all channels.
  • Generate a monthly report analyzing social media engagement, growth, sentiment, and prominent community discussions. Evaluate outcomes and insights from new experiments and initiatives.
  • Innovate by exploring novel content formats and making the most of emerging features on various social media platforms.
  • Establish and cultivate new company profiles on key platforms where an official presence is currently lacking, but where our target audience actively participates.
  • Direct social media users with inquiries to the appropriate resources for more information or assistance. Although not a technical support role, ensure open source users and customers are directed to the right sources for help.
  • Collaborate with the design team to produce social media assets that align with our visual branding, bolstering the effectiveness of social media campaigns.
  • Engage with the recruiting team to contribute to talent branding campaigns and initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary internal expert on social media trends and best practices, providing valuable insights to the company.

Required Experience/Qualifications:
