Villa Charities Scholarship For Undergraduate Students

The Villa Charities Undergraduate Student scholarship is designed to offer scholarship opportunities to students during their undergraduate studies.

Value:

A total of $2,500 will be awarded to each of four (4) full-time undergraduate students studying at an accredited Canadian university or college. The scholarship amount is designated specifically for tuition expenses.

Eligibility Criteria:

The following criteria are considered for the Villa Charities Scholarship for undergraduate students:

• Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program and entering the second, third, or fourth year of the program.
• Should have a GPA of 3.5 or higher. Please refer to the Terms and Conditions for additional requirements.
• Applicants must be Canadian citizens or hold permanent residence status.
• The online application and supporting documentation must be submitted by the June 30, 2023 deadline. Late applications will not be considered.
• Must demonstrate leadership qualities through various means, such as engaging in volunteer community service.
• Should exhibit a strong passion for their field of study. Priority will be given to students who demonstrate a special interest in Italian heritage and culture as part of their program of study, which could include participation in a co-op, internship, or an applied research project.
• A written essay of 500 words is required, describing how the applicant contributes to furthering Villa Charities’ mission of enriching lives through experiences and services that celebrate Italian culture and heritage.

The Villa Charities Graduate Student scholarship is designed to offer scholarship opportunities to students during their post-graduate studies.

Value:

Each of the four (4) full-time graduate students studying at an accredited Canadian university or college will receive a scholarship award of $5,000. The scholarship funds are designated specifically for tuition expenses.
