- Admission to Ph.D. program and award of URS shall be made through Entrance Test, the syllabus of which shall be the same as is prescribed for National Eligibility Test (NET) by the University Grants Commission/Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR)/Indian Council of Agriculture and Research (ICAR) etc.
- For Programs, where NET examination is not conducted, the syllabus of entrance test has been prescribed by the Department concerned.

MDU 2024 UG and PG Application Form
- To apply for admission to MDU, Rohtak, fill application through the online application form.
- In the application form, applicants need to fill all the correct details.
- Incomplete/wrong forms with errors will be discarded.

- Processing charges will be charged as INR 600 for general and Rs 150 (for SC/BC applicants of Haryana only).
Pre-Requisites for Applying Online MDU
Before applying online, you need to take care of the subsequent things are at hand:
- Information Brochure
- Mobile Number
- Email ID
- Education Qualification & Weightage details/documents (Matriculation, Senior Secondary, and Degree), Aadhaar Card Number, etc.
- Scanned images of photo, sign and thumb impression should be in JPG/JPEG format.
- Size of the photo image should be up to 50 KB.
- Size of the signature should be up to 30 KB.
- Size of the thumb impression should be up to 50 KB.
- Note down the Username and Password for subsequent login.
- Fee can be paid through e-challan at any branch of Punjab National Bank or Axis Bank
