After intermediate or 12th class, we are generally confused about our carrier. It is a big time to choose our subjects and our carrier. Eligibility Criteria

BA Admission for almost all colleges is made if the student clears the minimum eligibility criteria. In the majority of colleges, the criteria remain the same for all. Below written is the minimum eligibility criteria for admission in BA courses:

• The student must have cleared his class 12th board exam from a recognized Board / University
• He must have a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the Intermediate board examination
• Almost all colleges offer 5% relaxation in the aggregate marks for students from SC / ST backgrounds.

How to Apply?

Applications for a BA Admission are conducted online by top universities and colleges. However, for your reference, some of the main points are mentioned below, which will assist you in completing the BA Application Process. You can find anyone from various subjects like English, History, Sociology, Political Science, Bengali, Economics etc. You have to follow these steps-

• Many of the top-level colleges give admission based on class XII marks. It is dependent on the cut of basis. Cut-off of top colleges like Miranda, Hindu etc., go up to 98-99%. So it is very much important to score well in the Class XII exam.
• Make a list of colleges you want to apply to. Then, submit the application to these colleges in a given period. Just check beforehand, it is online or offline because many colleges accept everything online only these days.
• You must check the application dates, registration dates, and exam dates that are updated regularly.
• If an entrance exam is required for admission, then complete the exam syllabus. 
• Appear for the GD or the PI rounds confidently
• Once you are selected, then accept the admission offer.
