GNIOT provides Admission on the basis of scores secured by candidates in different national level entrance test or state level entrance examination. GNIOT offers BTech at undergraduate level and MTech, MCA and MBA at postgraduate level. The institute also offers lateral entry admission in BTech and MCA.

• Admission to BTech will be offered to candidates based on UPSEE counselling. Candidates can also take direct admission in BTech by applying online on the official website of the institute
• Candidate who have passed a 3-year engineering diploma in any branch of Engineering (except Agriculture/Pharmacy/Architecture) can apply for lateral entry BTech
• The admission will be based on qualifying passing graduation in the relevant stream. GATE and GPAT score holders will be given preference
• UPSEE/CAT/MAT/XAT qualified candidates are eligible to apply for MBA programme

• Qualifying exam: UPSEE 2024 / CAT / XAT / MAT / CMAT / GMAT / GAT
• Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree course from any recognized Indian University or its equivalent with minimum 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ST

MTech

• Qualifying exam: GATE / GPAT
• Eligibility: BE/ BTech in the relevant branch or equivalent with a minimum of 50% aggregat

BTech

• Qualifying exam: UPSEE / JEE Main
• Eligibility: Class 12 or Intermediate Examination of UP Board or equivalent in Physics, Mathematics and one optional subjection i.e Biology, Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/ Technical Vocational subject with a minimum aggregate of 50% (40% for SC/ST category candidates)

MCA

• Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized Indian University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ST)

PGDM

• Qualifying exam: UPSEE/ CAT/ XAT / CMAT/ GMAT / MAT & GAT
• Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from any recognised Indian university or its equivalent with minimum 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ST)

How to Apply?

1. Visit the official website of the University. The candidates are required to register themselves with their User ID and Password.
2. The candidates will get a verification mail after registering for the particular course. Complete the email verification by clicking on the link provided in the email ID.
3. Fill in all the details in the application form.
4. Complete the application by paying the application fee.
5. You will get an application number upon submitting your online application by making a successful online payment.

GNIOT 2024 Merit List

GNIOT 2024 Merit List will be released through online mode on the website. Candidates will be able to check their results through application number and password. Merit list will be released separately as per the courses.

Merit list will be prepared by the authorities based on the rank obtained by them in entrance examinations. Candidates whose name will be present in the merit list will be called for the counselling.

GNIOT 2024 Entrance Examination (UPSEE/UPCET)

As GNIOT University will not conduct any university level entrance examination for admission, so the majority of admission will be offered through a state level entrance examination called UPSEE/UPCET 2024.

UPCET formerly UPSEE is a state level entrance examination conducted by the A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University. Through the UPSEE/UPCET exam, candidates will be shortlisted for admission in UG and PG courses of Engineering, pharmacy and management fields.

Counseling

A counseling session will be organized for the candidates who have qualified for the entrance examination. Based on the merit list, the candidates will be offered different colleges to choose from. You can choose the colleges based on your liking, fees, location, etc. when appearing for the counseling session of a particular college, the candidate must provide relevant documents in original as well as a printout.
