Eligibility Selection Criteria

B.tech: Candidates must clear class 12th with any board minimum 60% marks then only it is eligible to appear in the admission test. Moreover, students have to clear the JEE MAIN and JEE ADVANCE with 60% marks minimum.

B.Pharma: 12th qualified with at least 55% marks secured in the qualifying examination. Selection will be based on the performance in V-SAT conducted by Vignan University. JEE Mains/Advanced/AP EAMCET/TA EAMCET qualified candidates will be exempted from the entrance examination.

BBA: Students should have an aggregate of 55% in plus two. Intermediate examinations are eligible for admission.

BCA: 12th qualified with at least 55% marks secured in the qualifying examination. Selection will be based on the performance in Vignan Joint Admission Test (V-JET)conducted by the university.

BSC: Candidates must clear class 12th with any board minimum 60% marks then only it is eligible to appear in the admission test. Moreover, students have to clear the JEE MAIN and JEE ADVANCE with 60% marks minimum.

MBA: Student must have any bachelor’s degree with 55% marks with CMAT score above 130, ICSC rank below 25000/ MAT score above 500/ minimum 70% in CAT or in BTech 60%

MCA : Students should have an aggregate of 55% in plus two. Intermediate examinations are eligible for admission.

M.tech: Candidates must qualify in the GATE/PGECET/VULGATE with a minimum of 50% of aggregate marks. Candidates who qualify for the GATE will be given a 100% scholarship and will get monthly remuneration.

MA: 60% of marks required in any bachelor’s degree and 60% above in English subject and written test should also be cleared after that interview will be conducted by the university.

MSC : Any BSc degree with chemistry as one of the subjects minimum of 60% (above 6.5 CGPA). After that interview will be conducted by the University and also must clear the Written Test.

PHD: PG degree holder or equivalent degree in a relevant subject. Minimum 60% marks secured in the qualifying examination. Written Test followed by an interview. GATE/CSIR NETqualified candidate will be exempted from the entrance examination.

Offline Application Process:

• Obtain the application form by post from the University Office on payment of INR 1200 through DD in ‘Vignan University, payable at Guntur.’
• The application form can also be obtained in person from any of Vignan Schools located at Guntur, Hyderabad, Eluru, Rajahmundry, Visakhapatnam, Ongole OR from Vignan offices located at Vijayawada, Guntur & Hyderabad OR from branches of Indian Bank located at Telangana and AP on payment of INR 1200 through DD or cash.
• Students can download the V-SAT application form from the official website. The filled application along with the DD of INR 1200 drawn in favor of ‘Vignan University, payable at Guntur’ is required to:

Process to Apply via Online Mode:

1. Go to – https://vignan.ac.in and tap “Apply Online”
2. Enter the details such as personal information and academic details
3. Scan and upload the latest photograph and signature
4. Upload scanned required documents
5. Pay the application fee via Net Banking/Debit/Credit Card.
6. After that click the “Submit” button
7. Take printout of the fully filled application form for further reference.

VSAT 2024 Exam Pattern

Read the details of VSAT Exam Pattern as given below to prepare yourself well for VSAT 2024:

• VSAT 2024 exam will be held from April to May , 2024(tentatively) in 3 slots: Morning and afternoon.
• Exam is conducted in online mode
• Medium is English.
• The duration of the paper is 180 minutes.
• The questions paper is multiple choice objective type.
• There are altogether 120 questions on subjects Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology and English/Aptitude.
• 1 mark is given for each correct answer and there is no negative marking.

Steps to download VSAT 2024 Admit Card

• Go to the Vignan University official website.
• Find and click on the Admit card link.
• Provide Name and Registration Number
• Admit card will be visible on the screen
• Finally, Download and save the Admit card.
• The Admit Card has to be kept safe for further use.

VSAT Results

• Visit www.vignanuniversity.org
• Click on VSAT Rank Card Link
• VSAT Results Page will be displayed
• Enter VSAT Admit Card Number
• Click on Submit Button
• VSAT Results with All India Rank will be displayed on Screen
• Download VSAT Score Card and take a print out of it.

VSAT Counselling

The counseling will be held followed by the result. The qualified students will be opting for counseling through post or e-mail/ SMS.

The notification about counseling will be published on the web page on the instruction of the university. Those who have secured high rank and got selected in the merit list after the result will be able to attend the counseling. It will be mandatory to show original documents while appearing for counseling along with their photocopies.

Important Instructions for VSAT 

• Candidates should reach the VSAT exam centre at least 30 minutes before the commencement of exam.
• All are strictly prohibited to talk / discuss anything with each other inside the exam hall.
• There should be no use of unfair means like calculators, wireless devices, earphones etc.
• Candidates should not create ruckus or disturbance in the exam hall.
