Load Shedding (বিদ্যুৎ বিভ্রাট)

In Bangladesh, load shedding is a widespread issue that affects the entire country for several hours each day. This refers to the discontinuation of electricity supply due to a higher demand than production capacity. System loss also contributes to the problem, causing significant disruptions in various sectors such as industry, healthcare facilities, homes and shops. The economic condition of the country is at risk due to these frequent power cuts. Patients suffer immensely during power outages, and students' studies are hampered. Additionally, young children become restless due to the heat caused by lack of electricity. It's not uncommon for people to miss their favourite TV programmes because of load shedding. This issue needs urgent attention as it may lead to a complete economic collapse if left unresolved. One solution could be setting up more power stations to meet the rising demand for electricity in Bangladesh.

বঙ্গানুবাদ : বাংলাদেশে বিদ্যুৎ বিভ্রাট নিত্যদিনের ব্যাপার। এটি দিনে ঘণ্টার পর ঘণ্টা সমস্ত দেশকে প্রভাবিত করে। এর অর্থ হলো বিদ্যুৎ সরবরাহ বন্ধ। উৎপাদনের চেয়ে চাহিদা বেশি হলে এটি ঘটে। সিস্টেম লসও বিদ্যুৎ বিভ্রাটের জন্য দায়ী। এটি অনেক সমস্যা সৃষ্টি করে। শিল্পখাতগুলো দিনে কয়েকবার এর দ্বারা প্রভাবিত হয়। এর ফলে আমাদের অর্থনৈতিক অবস্থা ভেঙে পড়ছে। হাসপাতাল, বাড়ি ও দোকান ঘর প্রতিদিন এ সমস্যার মুখে পড়ে। মুমূর্ষু রোগীর জন্য এটি অভিশাপ। এটি ছাত্রদের পড়া বিঘ্নিত করে। শিশুরা গরমে অস্থির হয়ে পড়ে। মাঝে মাঝে আমরা প্রিয় টিভি অনুষ্ঠান দেখা থেকে বঞ্চিত হই। এক্ষুণি এ সমস্যার সমাধান করা উচিত। সমাধান না করা হলে আমাদের সার্বিক অর্থনৈতিক অবস্থা ভেঙে পড়বে। বিদ্যুতের চাহিদা মিটাতে আরো বিদ্যুৎ কেন্দ্র স্থাপন করতে হবে।
