What Is MMVY Scholarship 2023?

The Government of Madhya Pradesh is inviting interested students to apply for Mukhya Mantri Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojana 2023. Those who have taken admitted for graduation in any discipline after passing the 12th class. To apply for the scholarship, 70% marks are required for students studying in State Board and 85% marks for those studying in CBSE and ICSE Boards. Interested students must first be permanent residents of the state of Madhya Pradesh before applying. All SC, ST, OBC, and General category students will receive financial support from MMVY Scholarship. The annual family income of the student should not exceed Rs 6 lakh to avail the benefit of the scholarship. Students must first log on to the MMVY scholarship portal to complete the scholarship form.

Benefits Of Mukhya Mantri Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojana

• Students who have enrolled in the Engineering program or the Law program can receive full scholarships of the course fee or INR 1,50,000 as per the fee declared by the university or the Institute.
• Students enrolled in the Medical program can receive the scholarship amount of the full course fee.
• Enrollment for the courses can be in government or private or dental colleges, students can receive financial assistance through the Scholarship.
• In general, students who have been pursuing undergraduate programs receive full tuition and fees.

MMVY Scholarship: Eligibility Criteria 

To apply follow the following eligibility criteria-

• Applicant must be a resident of Madhya Pradesh state.  
• The student must have secured admission to any undergraduate course.  
• The student’s annual family income should not exceed Rs.6 lakh.
• Students must have completed their 10+2 education with a minimum aggregate of 70% marks from a State board or 85% marks from a CBSE/ICSE board.
• Candidates who have obtained a rank within 1,50,000 in JEE Mains are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
• Medical aspirants who have gained admission to Government or private colleges based on their merit in the NEET examination are eligible.
• Candidates who have secured admission to any of the National Law Universities or the University of Delhi based on their merit in the CLAT examination are eligible.
• Students who have secured admission into any Undergraduate course in Aided, Government, Polytechnic, or Diploma colleges based on their performance in the 12th examination are also eligible to apply for this scholarship.

Terms and conditions 

• Applicants benefiting under this scheme must complete their higher education within the specified period.
• In case the student receives support from any other scheme of the State or Central Government, he/she will receive the odd amount.
• All beneficiaries of this scheme and their families can repay the amount given under this scheme to other beneficiaries like them.
• Fees payable to students of government institutions will be payable on the account of the institution, while fees payable to students studying in private institutions will be payable on the account of the students.
