Devaraj Arasu Scholarship 2023

Students who belong to the economically backward class are eligible to get Devaraj Arasu Scholarship. The scholarship is administered by the Government of Karnataka for students who cannot afford to pay college or tuition fees. Students will benefit from the scholarship ranging from Rs 10,000 to Rs 25,000. And the scholarship money is sent directly to the student’s bank account.

Devaraj Arasu Scholarship: Eligibility Criteria 

Students must follow the eligibility criteria given below to apply for the scholarship-

• Only permanent residents of Karnataka state can apply for the scholarship.
• Backward Class category people of the state can apply for this scholarship from Karnataka Government.
• Students must pass SSLC from a Government recognized Board/ Institute/ and University with a minimum of 90% marks.
• Students must pursue their education at a government-recognized institute or university. (both private and government accepted).
• To apply, the student’s family income needs to be below 2.5 lakh rupees.

Devaraj Arasu Scholarship: Documents

Below are the necessary documents required to apply for the scholarship

• Adhaar Card of the student
• Valid SSLC /PUC copy
• Caste certificate of the student
• Family Income certificate of the student
• Bank account details of the recipient and Ist-page copy
• Physically Handicapped Certificate (Only for PH Candidate)
• Mandate form.

Devaraj Arasu Scholarship: Selection Process

Students must follow the following selection criteria to apply for the scholarship:-

• Applicants will be selected according to merit for this scholarship.
• After accepting the application form of the students the authority of the Karnataka State Government, the final list of selected candidates is released.
• Applicants whose names and application numbers will be displayed on the selection list will get the reward of the Devaraj Scholarship as per their eligibility and schedule notified by the Government of Karnataka.
• Applicants can log in to their scholarship account on the official website by logging in to check the status of the Devaraj Arasu Scholarship 2021.

• Select the Registration link.
• On your screen, the registration form will appear.
• Completely fill out the form, including all the necessary information.

• Select the “Scholarship Sanctioned Report“ option on the homepage now.
• A new page will open where a year-wise pdf report of all the sanctioned scholarships will open.
• To select a year, click on it.
• The selected year’s pdf will now appear on the screen.
• Download it or check it in.
