 Sea and Ocean difference

Sea:-

A sea is a large body of saline water that is surrounded in whole or in part by land. More broadly, the sea is the interconnected system of Earth's salty, oceanic waters—considered as one global Ocean or as several principal oceanic divisions.

Ocean:-

An ocean is a large body of salt water that covers almost three quarters of the Earth's surface. It is divided into five main oceans: the Pacific, Atlantic, Indian, Arctic, and Antarctic Oceans. Oceans are home to a variety of marine life, including fish, mammals, and plants. They also provide a source of nutrients for other living             organisms.

Difference:-

The main difference between a sea and an ocean is size. Oceans are much larger than seas. Oceans are the largest bodies of water on the planet, covering nearly 70% of the Earth's surface. Seas are smaller, and are usually partially enclosed by land.
