JKSSB - Selection List for the posts of "Library Assistant" Health and Medical Education Department), Divisional Cadre Jammu, Divisional Cadre Kashmir and Divisional Cadre Jammu, advertised vide Advertisement Notification No. 02 of 2021 dated 26.03.2021, under Item Nos. 178, 223 and 408, respectively Sir, 

Consequent upon the receipt of indent/requisition from the Health and Medical Education Department, vide Indent No. HD/Drug/24/2020 dated 25.09.2020, HD/Drug/24/2020 dated 07.01.2021, ME/NG/83/20020 08.03.2021, HD/Coord/64/2020 dated 25.09.2020, HD/Coord/63/2020 dated 25.09.2020, HD/ISM/62/2020 dated 25.09.2020, HD/Coord/64/2020 05.03.2021 and ME/NG/83/2020 dated 28.09.2020, the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB), among other posts, advertised 3 posts of Library Assistant for Jammu Division Cadre, 2 posts for Kashmir Division Cadre and 1 more post for Jammu Division Cadre vide Notification No. 02 of 2021 dated 26.03.2021, under Item No. 178, 223 and 408.

JKSSB conducted the Computer Based Test (CBT) for these posts and, thereafter, on the basis of merit obtained by the candidates, the Document Verification was conducted by the DV Committees constituted vide Order No. 35-SSB 0of 2022 dated 04.02.2022. After seeking preferences from the candidates and on the basis of the principle of Merit-cum-Preference, the Provisional Selection List for the said post was notified vide notification No. SSB/Secy/Sel/2022/6287-6300 dated 20.10.2022. 

Consequently,after due deliberations/consideration objections/representations received upon the notification of Provisional Selection List, the Final Selection List, along-with the Waiting List, was approved by the Board and subsequently notified vide notification No. SSB/Secy/Sel/2023/31-44 dated 05.01.2023. of Accordingly, the undersigned is directed to forward herewith the selection list, along with the waiting list for the post of "Library Assistant", Health and Medical Education Department, Divisional Cadre Jammu, Divisional cadre Kashmir and Divisional Cadre Jammu, advertised vide Notification No. 02 of 2021, dated 26.03.2021 under Item No. 178, 223 and 408 as per Annexure -"A" to this communication. 

The above Selection list shall be subject to the outcome of writ petition(s), if any, pending disposal before any competent Court of jurisdiction related to the selection. 

The Selection List shall also be subject to the outcome of any inquiry, involving candidate(s), figuring in this Selection List 

The document verification/scrutiny conducted by the Board is limited to the extent of establishing physical possession of Category/Degree certificates and ascertaining genuineness/validity etc. or otherwise of the same and recognition status of the Institution, shall be the responsibility of the Indenting Department/Appointing authority. 

It is further requested that in case any certificate/document, during the course of verification, turns out to be fake/fictitious, the Board may kindly be intimated and appropriate criminal proceedings against Such candidates may kindly be initiated.
