Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone's much-awaited Film 'Pathan' released at the box office on 25 January. Before its release, there has been a lot of controversy regarding its song 'Besharam Rang'. Deepika Padukone wore a saffron-colored bikini in the song, which was called an insult to Hinduism by sages. Apart from sages and saints, Hindu organizations like Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad also opposed the film. Called 'Pathan' Bashahrukh Khan and Deepika as anti-Hindu. Even these protests and boycotts could not stop the success of the film. Pathaan: CBFC gave permission to release 'Pathan' with some changes. Even when the film was released, there was a lot of protest against it. Brahmastra Part 1: The first name in this sequence is 'Brahmastra: Shiva Part One'. The film was released amidst the Ongoing Boycott Movement against Bollywood. Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt was in the lead role in the film. There was a lot of protest against the film on social media. Still earned Rs 431 crore. Laal Singh Chadha: Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer 'Lal Singh Chadha' also released amid the ongoing Boycott movement against Bollywood. Aamir worked hard on this film and called it his dream project. The film could not show anything special at the box office. According to Bollywood Hungama, 'Lal Singh Chadha' did a total business of more than 129 crores in the country and the world.


Padamaavat: Protests against Shahid Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, and Ranveer Singh starrer 'Padmaavat' took place across North India. Several Hindu organizations including Karni Sena opposed the film. There was a demand to ban it. A reward was also announced for the person who brought Deepika Padukone's nose by cutting it. PK: There were a lot of protests against Aamir Khan and Anushka Sharma's starrer 'PK'. The film satirizes religious practices and superstitions. People associated with religious organizations protested against it. Aamir received many dangerous threats from religious organizations. Moved the court to ban the film and demanded a ban on it. The Dirty Picture: There was a lot of protest from north to south against Emraan Hashmi, Vidya Balan, and Naseeruddin Shah's starrer 'The Dirty Picture'. Vidya put on 12 kilos for the film.
