Twitter: Elon Musk does not have the money to pay the rent of the Twitter office! Selling sofa-table, Twitter's 'bird' sold for 81,25,000 

Elon Musk Twitter Auction- 631 items from the San Francisco-based Twitter headquarters have been put up for auction. The things that are being auctioned include some Twitter memorabilia, electronics, and furniture to kitchen items.

New Delhi. Ever since Elon Musk bought Twitter, it has had bad days. Even for Elon Musk, buying Twitter has not yet proved to be a profitable deal. At the time when Musk bought Twitter, he was the richest person in the world and now in just a few months, Elon Musk has lost the crown of the world's richest person. Musk has not even paid the rent for Twitter's offices. Now Elon Musk is auctioning some things from the San Francisco headquarters (Elon Musk Twitter Auction). In this auction, 631 items including sofas, chairs, decorative items, and kitchen appliances have been placed in the Twitter office.

Twitter's logo is also among the properties being auctioned. According to Heritage Global Partners Services, which is doing the auction, in this 27-hour online auction, this Twitter Bird Statue has been sold for $ 100,000 i.e. Rs 81,25,000. At the same time, a 10-foot-high neon light in the shape of the Twitter bird logo has been auctioned for $ 40,000. Luxury sofas, lounge chairs, and long conference tables were also kept in this auction. An ergonomic desk, TV, bicycle-powered charging station, pizza oven, and a decorative planter in the shape of an "@" sign have also been put up for auction.

Espresso machines made by the Italian company La Marzocco have also been kept in the auction. So far the bid for one machine has been placed at $11,000 i.e. Rs.8,94,096. 20,000 people had registered in this online auction. Heritage Global, which conducted the auction, says that this is the biggest auction organized by their company in the last 90 years.

Not able to pay the rent
Elon Musk Twitter did not pay the rent of the San Francisco office. The owners of the building have reached the court to collect the rent. Similarly, the employees working in Twitter's Asia-Pacific office in Singapore were also asked by the company to vacate the office and instructed to work from home. Since buying Twitter to reduce costs, Elon Musk has fired more than half of Twitter's employees.
