She-Hulk Suffers the Worst Final Fate Of Any Hulk

One thousand years into the future, Planet Hulk is still at war with Amadeus Cho and Bruce Banner stuck there. She-Hulk has the worst fate, though.

Warning: SPOILERS ahead for Planet Hulk: Worldbreaker #2Almost no one in the Marvel Universe can withstand a beating like a Hulk, but She-Hulk’s fate is far worse than losing a fight.

Things haven’t been going well for Sakaar, also known as Planet Hulk. A thousand years into the future, long after the Hulk first came to the planet, the society is still at war. A grand priestess of Sakaar wants to eliminate all of a green skin people living there. Hulk Amadeus Cho lives on Sakaar and has been tasked with stopping the genocide. However, he knows he is not up to the challenge alone. He needs to find the original Hulk Bruce Banner.

In Planet Hulk: Worldbreaker #2 by Greg Pak and Manuel Garcia, Amadeus Cho actually manages to find Bruce Banner, but he is not in any mindset to help. While in Bruce Banner’s hut, they find a picture of She-Hulk during a peace treaty signing. A lawyer by trade, she was able to negotiate a long peace on the planet that obviously didn’t last. Cho wants to find She-Hulk and have her help, but Bruce is totally against the idea. In the issue’s closing moments it’s revealed that there is a floating city above the surface that She-Hulk is apparently tapped into, her power allowing it to stay airborne.

She-Hulk Is Basically A Battery

Beyond just Bruce Banner, all Hulks are considered some of the toughest beings in the Marvel Universe, She-Hulk included. It’s not just that they are tough to kill. They also live incredibly long lives, as seen in this series which has Bruce Banner, Amadeus Cho, and She-Hulk Jennifer Walters all living healthily a thousand years after the main Marvel timeline. Bruce Banner’s Hulk has even been seen living at the end of the universe.

However, all the various fates that the Hulks eventually fall into fail in comparison to where She-Hulk is at during the end of this issue. It’s unclear how she arrived at this situation, especially since it was revealed that she had brokered some form of peace earlier on in Sakaar’s timeline, but it appears as if she is essentially a slave. Worse than that, she’s actually a battery. It was said that if she were ever disconnected from the floating city then it would fall to the surface. She also doesn’t appear to be conscious. So in this situation, She-Hulk has been reduced to a non-living entity, merely an object that is being used to power a city. That kind of fate for She-Hulk is definitely one of the worst.
