On 4th day of ISSB you would be having your command TASK.(Each one of your group members will have to become a leader once) GTO will take your group to the Task Area and your COMMAND TASK would be started.First of all GTO will brief you about COMMAND TASK and then will ask "Who wants to do the COMMAND TASK first??? Take the initiative and raise your hand....Now GTO will choose someone among you (may be you) and he will do the command task...!!! And then this process continues!!!

This is the most important task and anyone who completes this as per GTO's expectations,and follow instructions like sir zaki Rehman told us.Then he/she is 90% close to getting recommended by GTO. This is my command task. The above image is the view as I had from the start line. The picture below is what it looks like from top. The pipe was somewhat 4 ft high and one could climb it using the wooden plank as an inclined plane. The red area is out of bound for both yourself and your "resources". Brown part is ground and it is well, "out of bound" of course. Time is usually 12 minutes or something I honestly don't remember but if GTO sees you can't do it or if he spots the necessary traits in you and gets an idea you can do it, he might stop you in mid way. Each group member becomes a commander and 5 consecutive members are his/her army e.g my I.D no. was 7 and with me I.D 6,5,4,3 and 1 were my sub ordinates.

Tips for CT: Try to locate a "critical point" i.e somewhere in this task from where you can execute it completely. Commander is the one who supervises mostly, so it is advisable that you occupy that point and then ask your Fellows to carry out task as you ask them to. But it doesn't mean you don't work at all. You should also help where necessary. If anyone of your mock sub ordinates suggests an alternate plan, don't just go about executing it, first review it, compare it with your own if his/her is better, accept it nicely and execute. If you think yours is better, politely refuse the one who suggested.

GTO will choose a task for you, when he chooses you for command task...Now GTO will send other group members little bit far from your task......Mostly towards a boundary wall where all g.fellow have to face towards wall except one member whose face would be towards GTO and YOU../// Now GTO will take a light interview from you while walking with you or may be in standing position....(Interview may related to ur bio data,Academics,Aim, and some personal questions etc or regarding ur Interview yesterday with Psych or Deputy ...It depends) In the meanwhile he will brief you about your task (Starting line finishing line,Inbound places ,out of bound places etc) HERE note whether JUMPING AND THROWING is allowed or not in this task...!!!(Time for COMMAND TASK is 8 MINUTES but normally GTO dont give you FULL 8 MINUTES) At the same time GTO will tell you that have 2 minutes time to make a plan for this task and then Call your group fellows then but(Sometimes GTO may try to gossip with you so that you cannot make plan for your task)Now when you make a plan for the task....You will have to call your group fellows.....Even if u fail to make plan for it ...dont waste time ...Call your group and then make plan...!!! While calling your group by name ...face towards them and shout with a LOUD VOICE (FOR EXAMPLE) """GROUP A!!! ....COME HERE!!"""

Then your group will come and your COMMAND TASK is started.....Some would be standing as observer and rest of them would be your subordinates....!!!

(OBSERVERS WILL JUST OBSERVE YOU ,THEY WILL NOT BE INVOLVED OR INSIDE YOUR TASK .In fact they would be standing outside the task....ONLY SUBORDINATES WILL WORK IN COMMAND TASK UNDER COMMANDER...!!!

INSTRUCTIONS AND TIPS FOR COMMAND TASK

1:First of all arrange your Subordinates.Make them stand chest.No wise in ascending order.

2:Use URDU language throughout ISSB unless asked to speak ENGLISH Please..Dont ever try to be over efficient there even if you have good control over ur ENGLISH .

3:Use humble language. (URDU)

4:Now start by saying BISMILLAH and then brief them about your task. (Same briefing given to you by GTO) e.g (Dear Group fellows...As you know we have been given this task..in which this white line is starting line ...that is finishing line,inbound ,out of bound etc etc etc)

5:Now tell them your Plan... e.g (Group fellow First we will do this and then we will

that etc etc)

6:When you tell them your plan....Ask them (Any doubt Group fellow???) Dont ask for suggestions...when they says

"NO" Then start the task.

(I have seen my fellows Commanding from outside the task..Ordering them to take everything and themselves doing nothing....Remember They are your subordinates not personal SERVANTS) so take a plank yourself and

ENTER THE TASK FIRST....I repeat ENTER THE TASK FIRST bcz u are a COMMANDER....THEN CALL YOUR FELLOW INSIDE THE TASK TO HELP YOU OUT in completing the task.

7:ENTER FIRST AND LEAVE IN THE LAST when all your fellows have crossed finishing line.

8:Try to call you weak fellows just after you enter the task and strong at the back while you be in the middle....

8:The best way to command is to be in the middle of your Grp fellows inside the task...!!

9:Choose the possible way not an easy way.

10:Dont go for shortcuts because mostly shortcuts will put you in trouble.

11:The Task may be sometimes easy or may be sometimes very difficult...But in both cases show struggle,hard work, and most importantly NEVER GIVE UP.Sir Zaki doing implement on this hardly.

12:Make one plan but a possible plan...Dont go for changing plan in the middle of task.Make a good possible plan before entering the task.

12:Use your mind to get new ideas and plan

13:Remain active and check consequently your fellows whether they are committing fouls or not....

14:If they are doing fouls....then advise them silently not to commit fouls....

15:The more fouls they commit ..Your marks will be deducted as much.

16:Dont ever shout on your fellow even if u get angry sometimes.

17:If you get trapped somewhere in the task or you dont have a good plan...You can ask ur fellows for suggestions silently in a manner so that (GTO shouldn't see u during this moment)

18:GTO will pressurize you by saying Mr.Commander you have this much time remaining etc etc ignore it...!!! Just carry on with ur task.

19:GTO may sometimes ask you like (" Mr.Commander koi foul to nahi horaha???" ) then watch your fellows they may be committing some small fouls...Tell GTO "Yes Sir Horaha hai" if really ur fellow is committing foul otherwise say NO....but mostly ur fellow would be committing fouls when GTO says this!!

20:REMEMBER ONE THING GTO WILL NOT LET YOU COMPLETE THE TASK...EVEN IF YOU HAVE REACHED 21:FINISHING LINE ....As soon as GTO comes to know that this guy is going to complete the task "He will say "Mr.Commander YOur TIME IS FINISHED.THANK YOU" MAKE YOUR TIME OVER." 22:So dont worry if you dont complete your task.

23:Show your struggle and ability in First 3-4 minutes and prove it to GTO that you are the person ...they are looking for!!

What is Command Task at ISSB

I tried my best to highlight important factors regarding command task and

I hope you all got a true idea of a command task..

Luggage was checked and mobile phones were taken in the waiting area.

After being in the ISSB, All the candidates were gathered in the and "Chacha" gave the rooms to the group of 12 candidates.

But we were only 4 in the single room.

We were asked to leave our luggage in the room and to come down to have a tea break.

After that we were called in "JOHAR HALL" for the form filling and checking of documents.

"Strangest day" this topic was given to me in the form filling.

The whole day we just filled the forms.

At the time of Maghrib we got free.

1st day...

After having breakfast once again we were called for the psychology tests.

"Sentence completion" of Urdu and English were there.

"Word association test" was there.

You have to make a sentence in 10 seconds. Word will be appear on the screen for 10 seconds and then next word will be appear.

100 sentences you've to make of 100 words.

"Picture story" was there 4 images were showed for specific time period.

Every picture was showed one by one.

"Story completion" 

"I saw a girl alone on the road......."

It was given to me.

2nd day...

We were called in the "JOHAR HALL".

One by one the number of GTOs came, announced the names of 7 or 8 or more than it candidates and took them with him.

We were 8 in the group.

Group discussion topic: " kia haftey kee chutti se bijli ke bohran per qabu paya jaasakta hai?"

Lecture topic: "Jahalat kabhi kabhra nemat hoti hai".

Little bit good  in the "Military  planning" and did many fouls.but my effort appreciated by GTO because I have too much practice in Sir zaki Rehman online classes.

GTO asked us to wear sports kit.

After that, GTO took us in the task area for The "progressive group task".

We did just only 1.

Then, " Half group task".

It was about to be completed but he asked us to stop.

"Command task" was good.

"Final group task" was completed.

Obstacles: 8.
