Bihar Judicial Service (Lower) Syllabus

Bihar Public Service Commission (B.P.S.C.) conduct the Bihar Judicial Service Exam. This exam is held in two steps for Civil judge or judicial Magistrate

1. Prelims And  2. Mains



There are two papers in Prelims exam 

    1. General Study - 100 Marks

    2. Law                  - 150 Marks

In General study subjects are:-

General Knowledge With Current Affair
Elementary General Science

In Law Subjects are:-

Law of Evidence & Procedure
Constitutional & Administrative Law
Hindu & muhammadan Law
Transfer of Property
Equity & Trusts
Commercial law

There are 2 paper in Mains Exam

    1.   Mandatory Subject  - 600 Marks

    2.     Elective Subject      - 450 marks 

                     Total      =       1050 Marks


Mandatory subjects are :- 

General Knowledge With Current Affair
Elementary General Science
General Hindi
General English
Law of Evidence & Procedure

Elective subjects are :-

Constitutional & Administrative Law
Hindu & muhammadan Law
Transfer of Property, Equity & Trusts
Law of contract & tort
Commercial law
In these 5 subject you select only 3 subject for mains paper
