Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, GATE 2022 Admit Card👱👱, scheduled earlier to be released on January 4 and then expected to be released today, has been put on temporary hold. Indian Institute of Technology, IIT Kharagpur, the organizing institute, after postponing the release to January 7 has not deferred the release further. As per the latest update on gate.iitkgp.ac.in, the date of downloading the GATE 2022 admit cards will be announced shortly.

Apart from shifting the date of the admit card, another significant change is in the exam dates. In the latest update on the website, the Exam dates for GATE 2022 examination have now been marked – Tentative, signaling the possibility in change for the same.

It may be prudent to mention here that there is no official notice as yet regarding the possibility of the delay. The situation, however, suggests that there might be some change. Students who have registered for the examination are hence advised to keep a close check on the official website for any important update or information.

The changes are clearly in view of the recent surge in the number of cases in the country. The ‘dreaded third wave’ seems to have arrived and with renewed tenacity.
