Do you want to be a world-class chef? If so, then the Indian Institute of Hospitality Management (IIHM) is the place for you. This institution offers top-notch culinary education, and its students are respected throughout the food industry. If you’re thinking of enrolling in IIHM but aren’t sure if it’s the right choice for you, don’t worry – we’ve got you covered!

On August 13, 2022, the International Institute of Hotel Management (IIHM) will administer the Electronic Common Hotel Admission Test (eCHAT) to its incoming class of students.

In order to be admitted to the institution, prospective students who have chosen to study hospitality management at IIHM must take and pass the eCHAT exam. Before the stay-at-home orders went into effect last year, it used to be an on-campus event. To keep the aspiring hoteliers going unhindered along their professional routes, IIHM embarked on their Online eChat examination, a fully digital approach, in response to the pandemic’s encouragement of nearly every area of society to go digital. This time, IIHM offers them a special chance to take the admission test while relaxing in their own homes.

Candidates who plan to take the exam will be sent an email with the registration link, and e-chat link. They must click on this page, make a little payment of Rs. 600, and register for the test. Candidates receive their admit cards, along with information about the exam and the interview schedule, at their registered email addresses after registering. The IIHM admission counselors will stay in touch with the applicants throughout the procedure and provide them with pertinent information and direction. Candidates have the option to take the exam using either their home computers or their mobile phones, which will make the process even simpler.

In spite of the disruption brought on by the pandemic in 2020, IIHM, a renowned national institution for hospitality education, has taught students creative ways to stay connected to their vocations and study. Since the lockdown was announced, IIHM was one of the first few universities to provide its students with online coursework. Learning at IIHM remained just as fascinating when moved to the online platform, whether it was through regular sessions or a series of masterclasses by illustrious national and international celebrity chefs.

“In spite of these challenging circumstances, we have attempted during the past year to encourage and assist students in staying committed to their training and course work. Our faculty has put in a lot of effort to keep the class schedules. In order to make things simple and convenient for students, we are once again holding the eCHAT on an online platform this year “said Dr. Suborno Bose, the IIHM’s Chief Mentor. Even in these difficult circumstances, IIHM aims to develop new and improved training and pedagogical delivery methods, driven by a vision of assisting students in overcoming their career-related fears
