Eid-al-Adha Celebration

Last year, I celebrated Eid-al-Adha in my village with my family. Eid-ul-Adha is a big festival for us. It's about Sacrifice. Long ago, Prophet Ibrahim was ready to sacrifice his son, Ishmael, because Allah asked him to. Allah was happy with Ibrahim's strong faith and gave him a lamb instead of his son. This act of sacrifice by Prophet Ibrahim is now celebrated as Eid-ul-Adha. It comes after Eid-ul-Fitr, about two months later.

On that day, I woke up early, took a bath, and wore new clothes. Then I went to a special place called Eidgah with my dad to pray. After the prayer, we hugged and said "Eid Mubarak." Then, we offered our favorite animals to Allah. This means we sacrificed them. We then shared the meat in three equal parts: for our family, relatives and friends, and poor people. Later, I visited my relatives' houses. We had special foods like khichuri, Payesh, Polao, and Korma to celebrate this day.

The main reason for the sacrifice is to make Allah happy. Another reason is to make sure every Muslim can have meat. Overall, the day was fun and enjoyable.
