Karachi Shipyard and Engineering Works Limited (KS&EW) is a Pakistani government defense contractor and military corporation situated in West Warf, Karachi, Sindh.

KSEW Limited proudly holds the distinction of being Pakistan's oldest shipyard, specializing in shipbuilding, ship repair, and general heavy engineering equipment. 

Over the years, it has successfully constructed a multitude of cargo ships, oil tankers, tug boats, support vessels, landing craft, ships, and submarines for the Pakistan Navy.

It also undertakes construction and repairs for a diverse clientele that includes the Pakistan National Shipping Corporation, Karachi Port Trust, Port Qasim Authority, as well as various private sector entities in Pakistan.

The company's ownership is entirely vested in the Government of Pakistan and falls under the administrative jurisdiction of the Ministry of Defence.

Established in the mid-1950s as a venture of the Pakistan Industrial Development Corporation (PIDC), it subsequently gained incorporation in 1957 as a publicly held company, complete with a board of directors and a managing director.

The facilities at its disposal comprise a sizable shipbuilding hall, three fabrication blocks, three shipbuilding berths, two dry docks, a comprehensive machine shop, grit blasting and painting facilities, a ship lift with a capacity of 7,881 tons, a transfer system, and 13 parking stations.

Karachi Shipyard and Engineering Works Limited is inviting applications for the following positions: Manager (Paint Shop), DM (Tech), AM (Paint), AM (Tech) QC, AM (Dock Maintenance), and Carpenter.

We welcome applications from young, talented, and qualified individuals with the following educational backgrounds: BE, B.Tech, DAE, Middle, and Metric. Additionally, candidates must possess two to twenty years of relevant experience in their respective fields.
