Qualification: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government. Candidates in their final year/semester of graduation may also apply.
Age: Minimum age of 21 years and a maximum age of 30 years as of April 1, 2023. Age relaxation for reserved category candidates is as per rules.
Pay Scale: ₹36,000 – ₹63,840. Candidates will start with a basic pay of ₹41,960 (with 4 advance increments) in Junior Management Grade Scale-I (JMGS-I).
Selection Process for SBI PO Recruitment 2023
Any eligible candidate seeking a career as a Probationary Officer (PO) with SBI in the year 2023 must complete the online registration process on the SBI website for the 2023 PO Recruitment. The SBI PO Recruitment Examination for 2023 consists of three phases: Preliminary examination (Objective Type, 100 marks, and online), Main examination, and Group Exercise & Interview.
Candidates who qualify in the SBI PO Preliminary examination, scheduled for November 2023, will proceed to the Main examination (Objective Type, 200 marks, and online) in either December 2023 or January 2024.
Those shortlisted after the Main examination will be invited to participate in Group Exercises & Interviews in January or February 2024.
General and EWS candidates will have a maximum of four (4) opportunities to appear for the SBI Probationary Officer (PO) Recruitment examination, while OBC and PWD (General, OBC, EWS) candidates will have up to seven (7) chances. There are no restrictions on the number of times SC/ST candidates can participate in the examination.
