Santiago Ponzinibbio was born in Argentina on 26 September 1986 to parents of Italian heritage. He is an Argentine mixed martial artist competing in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) as a welterweight.
He is known as the Argentine Dagger. Santiago lives with his grandparents in Sicily. When he was 13, he began training in kickboxing in Argentina.
