Since its teaser debuted earlier this month, Rajinikanth’s next Movie Jailer has generated a lot of buzz. As of Monday, the movie has sold more than 612,000 tickets overall through the online ticketing service BookMyShow. According to Manobala Vijayabalan, a cinema trade analyst, the movie sold roughly 85.53 k tickets on Saturday, 233.15 k tickets on Sunday, and roughly 293.33 k tickets on Monday on the platform alone.

Tickets for Beast, which starred Thalapathy Vijay and Pooja Hegde in the major roles, sold for almost $658,000.
Following Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer and Greta Gerwig’s Barbie, the movie is one of the most eagerly awaited in Singapore. One of the top five most eagerly awaited Tamil films in the North American market is Jailer.
Tickets for the next Rajinikanth film have already been sold in the market for almost $828,000, or Rs 6.86 crore. Jailer now ranks alongside films like Rajinikanth’s Kabali ($1.92 million or Rs 15.89 crore), Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan ($1.03 million or Rs 8.52 crore), the Rajinikanth & Akshay Kumar-starring 2.0 ($982,000 or Rs 8.12 crore), and the Ponniyin Selvan 2 ($737,000 or Rs 6.09 crore) starring Chiyaan Vikram & Aishwarya Rai.
In addition, tickets for performances that begin as early as 6 am on August 10 in Bengaluru have been priced between Rs 800 and Rs 1,400. According to Ramesh Bala, a film critic and industry observer, Jailer has been assigned the greatest number of performances in Bengaluru on August 10.
The main character of Jailer is Muthuvel Pandian, a severe yet sympathetic jailer who discovers a group is attempting to free their leader from custody. Then Pandian decides to prevent the gang members from completing their goal. Significant characters in the movie are played by Rajinikanth, Mohanlal, Jackie Shroff, Shiva Rajkumar, Ramya Krishnan, and Tamannah Bhatia.
On August 10, the movie will open in theaters everywhere, one day before Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2, Akshay Kumar & Pankaj Tripathi’s OMG 2, and Chiranjeevi’s Bholaa Shankar.
