Gajra Raja Medical College (GRMC), Gwalior, was established in 1946. It is the 17th Medical College in India and 1st in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The GR Medical College Society governs the college under the Department of Medical Education, Government of Madhya Pradesh.
The medical college is affiliated with Jiwaji University, Gwalior. Further, as per the MCI data, the college is permitted to grant admission to 180-200 MBBS students for the academic year 2022-23. Besides that, the medical college is affiliated with four hospitals:

Admission procedure
- Candidates wishing to take admission to the MBBS course have to appear and qualify for the NEET UG exam.
- A merit list will be published based on NEET scores. Eligible candidates have to participate in the counselling process for the seat allotment.
- The candidates must register online at Medical department education (dme.mponline.gov.in) for the counselling process and choose the college name during the counselling process.
- After the seat allotment, the final admission will be based on the NEET UG scores, counselling process, documents verification, and payment of the college fees.
