P E S Institute Of Medical Sciences and Research (PESIMSR), Kuppam, was established on the 11th of September 2001 with a dream to create a medical college and hospital with modern facilities to cater to the rural population. The People’s Education Society (PES) runs the medical college.
Currently, the college is affiliated with NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada, and has also been approved by the Medical Council of India.
PESIMSR is a well-established Medical College offering undergraduate and postgraduate courses to students. The college is also attached to PES Hospital, containing state-of-the-art facilities. The hospital provides wonderful work experience and training opportunities to the students during their medical education.

Exploring the college infrastructure, it is built upon a large campus comprising staff quarters, a central library, an auditorium, sports facilities, and separate hostels for men and women.

Candidates seeking admission in PES, Kuppam in the MBBS course can take admission after qualifying NEET exam.

Eligibility criteria

The candidate should have passed 10 +2 Intermediate Education conducted by the Board of Intermediate studies, Hyderabad, with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as optional subjects or any other (equivalent) examination recognized by NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, India.

The candidate should have secured not less than 50% of the total marks in science subjects taken together at the qualifying examination. Proficiency in English is essential.

The candidate should have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission.

Admission procedure
Step 1: The first step is to qualify for the NEET examination.
Step 2: The candidates must register online at Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences for counselling and choose the colleges they want to join.
Step 3: After counselling, candidates can apply at the college website by filling out the admission application form and submitting the fees. The college will allot seats and perform document verification. Eligible and selected candidates are required to pay fees to start their education at PES Institute.
MBBS fee structure
Scholarship Program
Some government scholarship programs provide scholarships for socially underrated students. Eligible students can avail of the scholarship from the government of Andhra Pradesh. As of now, the college has no direct scholarship programs.
