The Staff Selection Commission will hold an Open Competitive Examination for recruitment of Sub-Inspectors in DelhiPolice and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs). Departmental candidates amongst Constables, Head Constables and Assistant Sub-Inspectors of Delhi Police with minimum three years’ service and who shall not be more than 30 years (33 years for OBC and 35 years for SC/ST) of age as on crucial dategiven at Para 5.1 may also apply for filling up of Open and Departmental Vacancies of Sub- Inspector (Executive) in Delhi Police-Male.
The details of posts are as under:
1.1 Sub-Inspector (GD) in CAPFs: The post carries pay scale of Level-6
(Rs.35,400-Rs.1,12,400/-) and is classified as Group ‘B’ (Non-Gazetted),
Non-Ministerial.
1.2 Sub-Inspector (Executive) - (Male/Female) in Delhi Police: The post
carries pay scale of Level-6 (Rs.35,400-Rs.1,12,400/-) and is classified as
Group ‘C’ by Delhi Police.

Essential Educational Qualification (as on 15.08.2023):
7.1. Educational Qualification for all posts is Bachelor’s degree from a
recognized university or equivalent. The candidates who have appeared
in their Bachelor’s degree or equivalent examination can also apply;
however they must possess Essential Qualification on or before the cut-
off date; i.e., 15.08.2023.
7.2. As per Ministry of Human Resource Development Notification dated
10.06.2015 published in the Gazette of India all the degrees/diplomas/certificates awarded through Open and Distance
Learning mode of education by the Universities established by an Act of
Parliament or State Legislature, Institutions Deemed to be Universities
under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 and
Institutions of National Importance declared under an Act of Parliament
stand automatically recognized for the purpose of employment to posts
and services under the Central Government provided they have been
approved by the Distance Education Bureau, University Grants
Commission. Accordingly, unless such degrees are recognized for the
relevant period when thecandidates acquired the qualification, they will
not be accepted for the purpose of Educational Qualification. In case of
the candidates possessing such degrees/diplomas/certificates awarded
through Open and Distance Learning mode of education, such candidates
shall also produce approval given to the University by the Distance
Education Bureau, University Grants Commission for the relevant period
as and when such certificates are sought by the authority(ies).
7.3. Further, as per University Grants Commission (UGC) (Open and Distance
Learning) Regulations, 2017 published in official Gazette on 23.06.2017,
under Part-III (8) (v), the programmes in engineering, medicine, dental,
nursing, pharmacy, architecture and physiotherapy, etc. are not
permitted to be offered under Open and Distance Learning mode. However, B. Tech. Degree/Diploma in Engineering awarded by Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) to the students who were enrolled up to academic year 2009-10 shall be treated as valid, wherever applicable.
7.4. Candidates who have not yet acquired but will acquire the educational
qualification, and produce documentary evidence from the Board/University in support thereof, as on 15.08.2023 will also be
eligible.
7.5. All candidates who are declared qualified in Computer Based
Examinations, Physical Endurance Test (PET)/Physical Standard Test
(PST) and Medical Examinations, or at any other stage, will be required to
produce all relevant Certificates in original such as Mark Sheets/Provisional Degree/Diploma Certificate as proof of having
acquired the minimum Educational Qualification (EQ) on or before
15.08.2023 failing which the candidature of such candidates will becancelled. The candidates who are able to prove by documentary evidence that the result of the qualifying examination was declared on or
before the cut-off date and he/she has been declared passed will also be considered to have the required Educational Qualification. It is reiterated that the result of requisite Educational Qualification (EQ) must have been declared by the Board/University by the specified date. Mere processing
of the result by the Board/University by the crucial cut-off date does not
fulfill the EQ requirement.
7.6. In case of the candidates possessing equivalent educational qualification,
such candidates shall also produce relevant Equivalence Certificate from
the concerned authorities as and when such certificates are sought by the
authority(ies). However, final decision regarding acceptance of such
certificates produced by the candidates shall be taken by the concerned
User Departments/Organizations/Appointing Authorities.
7.7. For the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police for Male candidates only: Male candidates must possess a valid Driving License for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) on the date fixed for Physical Endurance and
Measurement Tests (PE&MT) to be eligible for the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police. The male candidates who do not have a Valid Driving License for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) are eligible for the post of Sub-
Inspector in CAPFs only.
8. How to apply:
8.1. Applications are required to be submitted in online mode only at the
official website of SSC Headquarters, i.e., https://ssc.nic.in. For detailed
instructions, please refer to Annexure-I and Annexure-II of this Notice.
Sample Proforma of One-time Registration and online Application Forms
are attached as Annexure-IA and Annexure-IIA.
8.2. In the online Application Form, candidates are required to upload the
scanned colour passport size photograph in JPEG/JPG format (20 KB to
50 KB). Image dimension of the photograph should be about 3.5 cm
(width) x 4.5 cm (height). In compliance of the Order dated 05.03.2020 of
Hon'ble Supreme Court in the matter of Shantanu Kumar & Ors. [Writ
Petition (C) No.234 of 2018], the photograph of the candidate should not
be more than three months old from the date of publication of notice of
the examination. The Photograph should be without cap and
spectacles. The frontal view of the face should be clearly visible.
8.3. Before submitting the Application Form, candidate must ensure that the
photograph is uploaded as per the given instructions. If the photograph is
not uploaded by the candidate in the prescribed format given at para 8.2
above, his/her application/candidature will be rejected or cancelled.

8.4. Last date and time for submission of online applications is 15.08.2023
(2300 hours).
8.5. Candidates are advised, in their own interest, to submit online
applications much before the closing date of receipt of online
applications and not to wait till the last date to avoid any kind of
possibilities of disconnection / inability or failure to login to the SSC
website due to heavy load on the website during the closing days.
8.6. The Commission shall not be held responsible for the candidates not being
able to submit their applications within the last date on account of the aforesaid
reasons or for any other reason beyond the control of the Commission.
8.7. Before submission of the online application, candidates must check
through Preview/Print option that they have filled correct details in each
field of the Online Application Form.
Fee payable: Rs.100/- (Rupees One Hundred only).
9.2. Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC),
Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation
are exempted from payment of fee.
9.3. Fee can be paid only through online payment modes, namely BHIM
UPI, Net Banking, or by using Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, or RuPay
Credit or Debit card.
9.4. Candidates must ensure that their online payment has been
successfully made to SSC. If the fee is not received by SSC, status of the
Application Form is shown as ‘Incomplete’ and this information is printed
on the top of the printout of online Application Form. Further, status of fee
payment can be verified at the ‘Payment Status’ link provided in the
candidate’s login screen. Such applications which remain incomplete due
to non-receipt of fee will be SUMMARILY REJECTED and no request for
consideration of such applications and fee payment after the period
specified in the Notice of Examination shall be entertained.
9.5. Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances nor will it be
adjusted against any other examination or selection.

ఇటీవల వరుసగా జాబ్ నోటిఫికేషన్స్ వెలువడుతున్నాయి. వీటిలో డిఫెన్స్, పోలీస్ డిపార్ట్మెంట్లకు సంబంధించినవే ఎక్కువగా ఉంటున్నాయి. అయితే పోలీస్ ఉద్యోగాల కోసం ప్రయత్నిస్తున్నవారికి మరో గుడ్న్యూస్ చెప్పింది స్టాఫ్ సెలక్షన్ కమిషన్ (SSC). ఈ సంస్థ తాజాగా సెంట్రల్ పోలీస్ ఆర్గనైజేషన్ (CPO) సబ్ఇన్స్పెక్టర్ (SI) రిక్రూట్మెంట్ నోటిఫికేషన్ జారీ చేసింది. దీని ద్వారా ఢిల్లీ పోలీస్ విభాగంతో పాటు సెంట్రల్ ఆర్మ్డ్ పోలీస్ ఫోర్సెస్లో ఎస్ఐ ఉద్యోగాలను భర్తీ చేయనుంది. అర్హులైన అభ్యర్థులు అధికారిక పోర్టల్ ద్వారా ఆన్లైన్లో అప్లై చేసుకోవాలి. ఈ ప్రక్రియ నేటి నుంచి (జులై 22) ప్రారంభమైంది. ఆగస్టు 15తో అప్లికేషన్ గడువు ముగిస్తుంది.
ఖాళీల వివరాలు
ఈ రిక్రూట్మెంట్ ద్వారా SSC మొత్తంగా 1876 ఎస్ఐ పోస్టులను భర్తీ చేయనుంది. ఢిల్లీ పోలీస్ విభాగంలో సబ్ఇన్స్పెక్టర్(ఎగ్జిక్యూటివ్) ఖాళీలు 162 భర్తీ కానున్నాయి. ఇందులో పురుష అభ్యర్థులకు 109, మహిళా అభ్యర్థులకు 53 పోస్టులు కేటాయించారు. అలాగే సెంట్రల్ ఆర్మ్డ్ ఫోర్సెస్ సబ్ ఇన్స్పెక్టర్ (జనరల్ డ్యూటీ) పోస్టులు 1714 ఉన్నాయి. ఇందులో పురుషులకు 1601 పోస్టులు, మహిళలకు 113 పోస్టులు కేటాయించారు.
అర్హత ప్రమాణాలు
SSC CPO ఎస్ఐ రిక్రూట్మెంట్కు దరఖాస్తు చేసుకోవాలంటే అభ్యర్థుల వయసు 20 నుంచి 25 ఏళ్ల మధ్య ఉండాలి. గరిష్ట వయోపరిమితిలో ఎస్టీ, ఎస్సీ అభ్యర్థులకు ఐదేళ్లు, ఓబీసీ అభ్యర్థులకు మూడేళ్లు, ఎక్స్ సర్వీస్మెన్ అభ్యర్థులకు మూడేళ్ల సడలింపు ఉంటుంది.
ఎడ్యుకేషన్ క్వాలిఫికేషన్
గుర్తింపు పొందిన వర్సిటీ నుంచి ఏదైనా స్ట్రీమ్లో బ్యాచిలర్ డిగ్రీ పూర్తి చేసి ఉండాలి. ఎస్ఐ (ఎగ్జిక్యూటివ్) పోస్ట్ కోసం దరఖాస్తు చేసుకునే పురుష అభ్యర్థులకు ఎల్ఎమ్వీ (మోటార్సైకిల్ అండ్ కార్) డ్రైవింగ్ లైసెన్స్ తప్పనిసరి.
అప్లికేషన్ ప్రాసెస్
- ముందు అధికారిక పోర్టల్ www.ssc.nic.in ను ఓపెన్ చేయాలి. హోమ్పేజీలోకి వెళ్లి, లాగిన్ సెక్షన్లో రిజిస్టర్ నౌ అనే ఆప్షన్పై క్లిక్ చేయాలి.
- దీంతో కొత్త పేజీ ఓపెన్ అవుతుంది. అవసరమైన పర్సనల్ వివరాలు ఎంటర్ చేసి రిజిస్టర్ అవ్వాలి.
- తర్వాత రిజిస్టర్ ఐడీతో లాగిన్ అవ్వాలి. SSC CPO ఎస్ఐ రిక్రూట్మెంట్-2023పై క్లిక్ చేసి అప్లికేషన్ నింపాలి.
- అనంతరం అవసరమైన డాక్యుమెంట్లను అప్లోడ్ చేయాలి. అప్లికేషన్ ఫీజు చెల్లించి, ఫారమ్ సబ్మిట్ చేయాలి.
అప్లికేషన్ ఫీజు
జనరల్, ఓబీసీ అభ్యర్థులు అప్లికేషన్ ఫీజుగా రూ.100 పేమెంట్ చేయాలి. ఎస్సీ, ఎస్టీ, మహిళ అభ్యర్థులకు ఫీజు నుంచి మినహాయింపు ఇచ్చారు.
ఎంపిక ప్రక్రియ
అభ్యర్థుల ఎంపిక వివిధ దశల్లో ఉంటుంది. మొదటి దశలో పేపర్-1 రాత పరీక్ష ఉంటుంది. రెండో దశలో ఫిజికల్ ఎఫిషియెన్సీ టెస్ట్/ఫిజికల్ స్టాండర్డ్ టెస్ట్ ఉంటుంది. మూడో దశలో పేపర్-2 రాత పరీక్ష ఉంటుంది. చివరి దశలో మెడికల్ ఎగ్జామినేషన్ ఉంటుంది. అన్ని దశల్లో ఉత్తీర్ణత సాధించిన అభ్యర్థులకు ఢిల్లీ పోలీస్, సెంట్రల్ ఆర్మ్డ్ పోలీస్ ఫోర్సెస్, సెంట్రల్ ఇండస్ట్రియల్ సెక్యూరిటీ ఫోర్సెస్, బోర్డర్ సెక్యూరిటీ ఫోర్సెస్లో వంటి వాటిల్లో సబ్ఇన్స్పెక్టర్లుగా పోస్టింగ్ ఇవ్వనున్నారు.
ఎగ్జామ్ ప్యాట్రన్
SSC CPO SI రిక్రూట్మెంట్ పేపర్-1 ఎగ్జామ్ ఆన్లైన్లో జరుగుతుంది. ప్రశ్నాపత్రం ఆబ్జెక్టివ్ టైప్లో 200 ప్రశ్నలు ఉంటాయి. ప్రధానంగా జనరల్ నాలెడ్జ్, జనరల్ ఇంటెలిజెన్స్, రీజనింగ్, జనరల్ అవేర్నెస్, క్వాంటిటేటివ్ ఆప్టిట్యూడ్, ఇంగ్లిష్ కాంప్రహెన్షన్ విభాగాల నుంచి 50 చొప్పున ప్రశ్నలు ఉంటాయి. పరీక్ష వ్యవధి రెండు గంటలు. ఈ పరీక్ష అక్టోబర్ 3 నుంచి 6వ తేదీ మధ్య జరుగుతుంది. ఇందుకు సంబంధించిన అడ్మిట్కార్డ్లను సెప్టెంబర్ చివరిలో జారీ చేస్తారు.
జీతభత్యాలు
ఎస్ఐ రిక్రూట్మెంట్కు ఎంపికయ్యే అభ్యర్థులకు నెలకు జీతం రూ.35,400 నుంచి రూ.1,12,400 మధ్య ఉంటుంది.
