Rahul Gandhi Biography: Rahul Gandhi is an Indian politician who belongs to the Indian National Congress party. Born on June 19, 1970, he is the son of Rajiv Gandhi, a former Prime Minister of India, and Sonia Gandhi, the former President of the Indian National Congress. Rahul Gandhi is also a member of the Nehru-Gandhi family, which has played a prominent role in Indian politics since the country’s independence in 1947.

राहुल गांधी एक भारतीय राजनीतिज्ञ हैं जो भारतीय राष्ट्रीय कांग्रेस पार्टी से हैं। 19 जून 1970 को जन्मे, वह भारत के पूर्व प्रधान मंत्री राजीव गांधी और भारतीय राष्ट्रीय कांग्रेस की पूर्व अध्यक्ष सोनिया गांधी के पुत्र हैं। राहुल गांधी भी नेहरू-गांधी परिवार के सदस्य हैं, जिसने 1947 में देश की आजादी के बाद से भारतीय राजनीति में प्रमुख भूमिका निभाई है।

Rahul Gandhi completed his undergraduate studies in Rollins College, Florida, USA, and later obtained an M.Phil. in evolution Studies from the University of Cambridge, United kingdom. He worked for a management consulting firm in London before entering Indian politics.

Early Political Career

Rahul Gandhi entered politics in 2004 and won the Lok Sabha (lower house of India’s parliament) seat from the constituency of Amethi in Uttar Pradesh. He has been elected as a Member of Parliament several times from different constituencies.

He served in the Congress Party in various capacities, including as the Vice-President of the party from 2013 to 2017. He later became the President of the Indian National Congress in December 2017, succeeding his mother, Sonia Gandhi.
