From onwards 1947, The rise in Real estate prices prompted several largely of lower, middle income class of families to migrate satellite cities of Mumbai like, Virar, Vasai and Nallasopara. At that time Mira – Bhayander was part of the Gram Panchayat and consisted primarily of Agriculture land.

By 1980’s builders started to buy agricultural land and start developing townships.  The Mira – Bhayander Municipal council was set on 12th June, 1985. At the time of Gram Panchayat it was known as Mira Gram Panchayat, which is from where Mira Road got its name.

Mira Road in not just a city for me, Its a journey of a agricultural land to become a city. I have seen the development work of the city closely. I and city parallel growing and binding day by day new things in our journey and still its continue.

Now, The Infrastructure, Development, the transportation systems &  the Cleanness of the city every thing is well maintained by MBMC. The importance of Mira Road is increasing day by day and there are many other development works to be completed soon.

While living here from childhood I have seen the place to convert from open ground to multi storied tower. This Place has become a hot spot for residential and office goers.

Now development work is in only Mira Road east side, from North to south, which connect from Mira road station to KashiMira and from Dahisar check-Naka to Kanakia all the area are well set and the development structures look on the ground.

I have visited at multiple locations of Mumbai and other areas but very few areas look similar like Mira road Development. A day was that when nobody wanted to stay in this place and most of the living people looking to sold their property.

Current scenario is changes and people are very eager to know about this place and looking for the property to buy. The current population of the Mira Road is more than 8 Lacs and  they are happily living with all the cast, color, creed and culture people.

Electricity & Water Supply

As a home buyer we all have the curiosity to know first for water and electricity supply of the area, Now TATA Power and ADANI Electricity taking care of the city’s power supply. Earlier because of lack of development work in the city had water supply issue like now is in Virar-Vasai, but Supply of the electricity was all time better.

In just 1 hour of time you can reach to Churchgate from Mira Road and to Dahanu Road in 1 hour 30 minutes.

As a Mumbaikar we all know the importance of the local train connectivity. Most of the people are office person they give first preference to the local which is cheapest and the best suitable use for the traveling.

Bus Connectivity-

Generally we people complain about road development and most of the areas we get the small and big size black-wholes on road which are ready to turn our life in a second of mistakes. But I am very thankful to say this to all which is much better than any other place of the Mumbai in Mira Road.

All roads are quite wide and well set with the design. It shows the government planning and hard working over the roads to keep maintain properly. Mira road city’s internal and external routes and connectivity of the roads appreciable nowhere you feel the disappointment of the work.

Building construction like JP North, MICL Aradhya, Dyanmix Group, Kalpatru, Asmita Group, Lodha and many more projects are turning the shape of Mira Road.

Infrastructure and development of Mira Road is booming, if you visit in Mira Road then on every possible street of the corner you can notice some development work. Road improvements, development work of the Metro line on Mira Bhayander road and etc. are binding the new pillars of the future.

In coming days you can enjoy two line connectivity of the Metro, one is from Thane – Ghodbander – KashiMira side Metro Line No-10 route and another one is from Dahisar to Bhayander Metro Line-9 route work is in under-construction. This building the image and appreciating rate of the areas.

Entertainment and atmosphere:

In around the city there are multiple things for entertainment where people can have fun and enjoy with their families. If I start with smallest things around the city that is Jogging area & Parks which is available in every one kilometer of distance.

From the Utthan beach you can plan to go to the Exccel world for  make you days more memorable. There is available Bhanyander creek, Vasai Creek and Ghodbander Creek. Ghodbandar creek has newly started short trips over the ship for people on weekends. You can plan a day on your weekend for Ship’s tour and boating.
