No, Yaba Tech is not a University. Many people confuse Yaba Tech which is an exceptional polytechnic that is University. Yaba offers B.sc and offers degree programs in vocational and technical education. It is in partnership with the University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN). They also offer a Post-Graduate Diploma in Engineering through a partnership in conjunction with the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA).
4. Does YABA TECH Accept 3rd Choice?
Yaba Tech does not accept third-choice applicants. You must select Yaba College of Technology as your First Choice Institution before you are admitted to the college.
5. Does YABA TECH Accept 2nd Choice?
Yaba College of Technology does not accept candidates from 2nd choices. There are more students who have chosen them than they are able to admit therefore you have to select the college to be the First Choice Institution to be considered for admission.
6. Does YABA TECH Require JAMB?
Candidates who intend to pursue their studies full-time must have at least 5 O’level credits comprising English and Maths. They must score above 180 on the UTME/JAMB for consideration as candidates for admission.
Candidates who are interested in part-time courses don’t require JAMB to join Yaba Tech but must possess 5 O’level credit scores, which include English and Maths. They should be 18 years old or minimum and purchase a Yaba College of Technology part-time admissions application.
In short, it is clear that full-time students must take JAMB, and students who are part-time do not require JAMB.
7. YABATECH AND LASPOTECH WHICH IS BETTER
Many have been asking what’s the best thing about Yabatech but they are not aware it is Yaba Tech is the best polytechnic in Nigeria in 2021. In order to determine which one is better than Yabatech and Laspotech, Yaba Tech of course is superior to Laspotech.
