Management quota (Direct Admission)

KCET: KCET stands for Karnataka Common Entrance Test. This is only applicable for the students who have been studying in the state for 6+ years. To get into the computer science branch in RVCE, you have to get a rank inside 150.

After getting the rank in 150of entrance exam you can log in to the KCET website to follow the further instructions.

COMEDK: COMEDK stands for Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka. This entrance exam is applicable for any student from any state of India. For this, the fee structure is higher than that of KCET.

Direct Admission In RV College Of Engineering Through Management Quota: This is an expensive but sure-shot way to get admission into RVCE. The annual fee is around 10 lakhs with development fees and most of the time these seats are difficult to get (especially for Computer science).

Eligibility Criteria For B.E Program

10th Std: Min 70%. in Science & Mathematics subjects separately.

1th Std: Min. 65% in Physics & Mathematics subjects separately.

If 12th Std. results are announced: Min. 60% in Physics & Mathematics subjects separately.

Candidate should compulsorily appear in either CET 2022/COMEDK 2022 / JEE 2022 / Any other National Entrance Test conducted during 2021 in any state for Professional Programs

Eligibility Criteria For M.Tech

A candidate who has passed the prescribed qualifying examination BE/B.Tech or equivalent and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks taken together in all subjects in all the years is eligible for admission to M.Tech and 45% of marks in case of SC/ST candidates.

Candidates should have taken PGCET-2022 or should have a valid GATE Score/Rank. If the candidate has not qualified/appeared in PGCET/GATE.

a separate Entrance Test will be conducted for the candidates in the college and the student has to qualify in the Test.

Eligibility Criteria For MCA

Admission to the Master of Computer Application program shall be open to the candidate who has passed any recognized BCA/ Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent Degree OR Passed B.Sc. / B.Com /B.A. with Mathematics at 10+ 2 levels or Graduation level (with additional bridge courses as per the norms of the concerned University)

and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks taken together in all the subjects in all the years of the Degree Examination is eligible for admission to MCA courses. (45% of marks in the qualifying examination in case of SC, ST, and Category-I of Karnataka candidates.)
