In collaboration with the Inter Continental Aircraft Company of the USA, it started manufacturing aircraft such as the Harlow Trainer, Curtiss Hawk Fighter, and Vultee Bomber. HAL invites applications for the position of Technician (Diploma) Apprentice for the year 2024-25 at its Hyderabad location.

Post: Technician (Diploma) Apprentice

• Qualification: Diploma in the respective branch of Engineering/Technology from a State Board of Technical Education.
• Eligibility: Candidates must have passed their Diploma within the last 5 years.
• Stipend: Paid monthly as per the Apprentices Act 1961 and subsequent amendments.

1. Selection Process:
   • Based on marks secured in the Diploma/Engineering Degree/Graduation.
   • No interview or written test is involved.
2. Eligibility Criteria:
   • Ensure eligibility before applying.
   • Furnish correct particulars; discrepancies may lead to disqualification.
3. Documentation:
   • Only candidates with qualifying examination certificates (original/provisional) are eligible.
4. Merit List:
   • A merit list of selected candidates will be published on the HAL website (hal-india.co.in) and shortlisted candidates will be notified via email.
5. Joining:
   • Selected candidates must join by the prescribed date, failing which their candidature will be forfeited.
6. Ineligibility:
   • Candidates who have already undergone or are undergoing similar apprenticeship training elsewhere are not eligible.
7. Reservation:
   • Reservation is as per the Apprentices Act 1961 and subsequent amendments.
   • OBC candidates must produce a valid Non-Creamy Layer certificate.
8. General Conditions:
   • Canvassing will result in disqualification.
   • HAL reserves the right to cancel the advertisement/selection process.
   • Candidates must arrange their own accommodation and travel for the walk-in process.
