Tata Steel Foundation Donates an Ambulance to Odisha Blood Bank, Dhenkanal

Tata Steel Foundation (TSF), the CSR wing of Tata Steel, donated an ambulance to Odisha Blood Bank today at the Collectorate in Dhenkanal as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility. TSF’s Public Health vertical donated the ambulance, demonstrating their commitment to community health services.

Dr Dilip Kumar Biswal, CDMO, Dhenkanal, Dr Swaroop Kumar Sahu, Blood Centre Officer, Mohit Das, Chief Corporate Services, Tata Steel Meramandali (TSM), Nrusingha Charan Mahapatra, Head Corporate Relations and Regulatory Compliance, TSM, and other key officials graced the event as Chief Guest and flagged off the ambulance. 

This project will help the Odisha Blood Bank in Dhenkanal improve its blood collecting and transportation capacities. The ambulance is strategically located to support blood donation camps in rural places, ensuring regular and reliable blood supply.
