PM Modi to dedicate multiple projects in Rajasthan and MP

On October 5, 2023, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi (PM Modi) will visit Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.

At roughly 11:15 a.m., the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone and Dedicate numerous development projects worth approximately Rs 5000 crore in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, across areas including as road, rail, aviation, health, and higher education. The Prime Minister would arrive in Jabalpur about 03:30 PM to perform bhoomi poojan of ‘Veerangana Rani Durgavati Smarak aur Udyaan’.

He will also dedicate and launch national development projects worth more than Rs 12,600 crore in areas including as road, train, gas pipeline, housing, and clean drinking water.

The Prime Minister will lay the groundwork for major projects to improve Rajasthan’s health infrastructure. The projects include a 350-bed ‘Trauma Centre and Critical Care Hospital Block at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Jodhpur’ and seven Critical Care Blocks to be created across Rajasthan under the Pradhan Mantri – Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission (PM-ABHIM).

It will include triage, diagnostics, day care, wards, private rooms, modular operating theatres, ICUs, and dialysis units, among other things. It will take a holistic approach to the management of trauma and emergency cases by offering patients with interdisciplinary and comprehensive care. Rajasthan’s seven Critical Care Blocks will supplement district-level critical care facilities, benefiting the people of the state.

The Prime Minister will also dedicate the campus of IIT Jodhpur to the nation. The cutting-edge campus cost more than Rs 1135 crore to construct. It is an important step in providing high-quality holistic education and constructing infrastructure to support cutting-edge research and innovation efforts.

The Prime Minister will dedicate to the nation a ‘central instrumentation laboratory,’ staff quarters, and a ‘yoga & sports sciences building’ to improve the infrastructure at Central University of Rajasthan.  He will set the groundwork for the Central University of Rajasthan’s Central Library, 600-bed Hostel, and dining facility.

The Government of India is celebrating Rani Durgavati’s 500th birthday with zeal. The Prime Minister made the announcement during a visit to Shahdol, Madhya Pradesh, in July 2023. This was emphasized during this year’s momentous Independence Day address from the Red Fort ramparts to the country.  During these celebrations, the Prime Minister would do a bhoomi poojan of ‘Veerangana Rani Durgavati Smarak aur Udyaan.’

Rani Durgavati ruled over Gondwana in the mid-16th century. She is known as a valiant, fearless, and intrepid fighter who fought against the Mughals for freedom.

The Prime Minister’s objective of providing “housing for all” will be bolstered with the inauguration of the Light House Project in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The project, built at a cost of approximately Rs 128 crore under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Urban, would assist over 1000 beneficiary families. It uses unique technology called the ‘Prefabricated Sandwich Panel System with Pre-engineered Steel Structural System’ to produce great homes with all essential amenities in a significantly shorter amount of time.

The Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone and dedicate to the country numerous projects totaling more than Rs 4800 crore for strengthening Madhya Pradesh’s road infrastructure. Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of projects including upgradation of Road Connecting Jharkheda- Berasia – Dholkhedi of NH 346; four laning of Balaghat – Gondia Section of NH 543; four Laning of Khandwa Bypass connecting Rudhi and Deshgaon; four Laning of Temagaon to Chicholi section of NH 47; four laning of road connecting Boregaon to Shahpur; and four laning of road connecting Shahpur to Muktainagar. The Prime Minister will dedicate to the country the improvement of the NH 347C route between Khalghat and Sarwardewla.

The Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone and dedicate to the country numerous projects totaling more than Rs 4800 crore for strengthening Madhya Pradesh’s road infrastructure. The Prime Minister will dedicate to the country rail projects costing more than Rs 1850 crore. These projects involve doubling the rail line between Katni and Vijaysota (102 kilometers) and Marwasgram and Singrauli (78.50 kilometers). Both of these projects are part of the larger project to double the rail line connecting Katni and Singrauli. These initiatives will strengthen Madhya Pradesh’s rail infrastructure, which will boost the state’s trade and tourism.

The Prime Minister will dedicate rail projects worth more than Rs 1850 crore to the country. The rail line between Katni and Vijaysota (102 kilometers) and Marwasgram and Singrauli (78.50 kilometers) will be doubled as part of these projects. Both of these projects are part of a wider plan to double the train route that connects Katni and Singrauli. These measures will improve Madhya Pradesh’s train infrastructure, boosting trade and tourism in the state.
