Twitter polls – Elon Musk has announced that beginning April 15th, only verified accounts will be eligible for ‘For You’ recommendations. According to Musk, this is the only viable solution to the problem of advanced AI bot swarms taking over. He believes that without this measure, it would be a “hopeless losing battle.”

For the same reason, Musk has stated that voting in polls will require verification. This change is likely to change the way users interact with For You recommendations and polls.

Musk’s latest move also coincides with the deadline for switching to the new Twitter Blue subscription. Musk has stated that all legacy blue tick owners will be losing their verification badges soon.

Musk stated in his tweet, “Only verified accounts will be able to appear in For You recommendations beginning April 15th. This is the only realistic way to deal with advanced AI bot swarms. Elon Musk’s new move is expected to make the Twitter Blue subscription more appealing to the social media network’s most ardent users. Twitter Blue was launched in India at a monthly cost of Rs 650 for Indian users. If you purchase the subscription through the Android or iOS apps, you will end up paying Rs 900 for the same benefits.
