ISS India, SINE IIT Bombay to develop program for innovators

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the facilities management company ISS India Facility Services India and the Society for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at IIT Bombay has been inked (SINE). As part of their partnership, ISS and SINE plan to create collaborative accelerator and incubator programmes to aid entrepreneurs and innovators.

According to a press release, the programmes will assist in giving participants access to materials, mentoring, and funding alternatives, including corporate social responsibility (CSR), proof of concept (POC), seed finance, market outreach, and early adoption options.

The agreement additionally said that both organizations would take part in Demo Day events, which allow startups to present their goods or services to a larger audience. In addition, ISS India will take part in the evaluation of SINE startups that are up for incubation, offer input, and maybe take startup solutions on board as an end user.

“Our efforts to nurture and invest in the talents and ideas of brilliant minds will propel economic progress in India and around the world through our cooperation with SINE. According to Aksh Rohatgi, CEO, Country Manager, ISS India, “under the agreement, a lot of solutions will emerge for the Facilities Management industry, which is now undergoing revolution with rapid infusion of technology into numerous business facets.

In addition to finance assistance, ISS India also seeks to offer cooperative Go To Market (GTM) assistance to interested entrepreneurs. This involves having access to the necessary resources, getting compensated pilot projects approved, and receiving corporate mentoring. According to the press release, startups will also have access to the networks and entrepreneurial ecosystem of ISS India and SINE with special permission.
