Chetak Foundation, HMSI, and VisionSpring – Road Safety for Drivers

In order to improve driver safety on the road, the Chetak Foundation, in collaboration with HMSI and Visionspring, established an eye check-up camp and gave away free eyeglasses to participants.

The project aims to reward and value drivers’ dedication to the development of India’s logistics industry as well as their part in fostering the nation. Over one hundred drivers who attended the camp had their eyes examined, and those who needed glasses were given them for free.

Atsushi Ogata, MD, President & CEO of Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, has stated in the past that this programme is a step towards guaranteeing road safety for all users of the road. We are pleased that the Chetak Foundation, in collaboration with VisionSpring, recognized this as a key issue and set up an eye-checkup camp for truck drivers.

This timely effort is consistent with Honda’s global values, which place a significant emphasis on traffic safety. We hope that these initiatives encourage other companies to step up in support of this admirable cause. We wish the Chetak Foundation luck in its charitable endeavours.
