Zara Beauty debuts in India, opens 1st store in DLF Promenade in New Delhi

Zara Beauty debuts in India

For those who love makeup, there is good news. In India, Zara Beauty has made its official debut. Its full line of accessories, lips, eyes, nails, and makeup will be sold in the nation. The items will be housed in a brand-new beauty-specific store-in-store concept with a modern, polished white appearance that matches the products themselves. Although the brand’s debut location is at DLF Promenade in New Delhi, further locations around the nation will shortly follow. Customers can place orders online using the Zara website, which also includes a built-in virtual “try-on” facility.

The objective, according to Eva Lopez, director of Zara Beauty, was inclusion. “Our goal was to develop something truly inclusive in which many can join — new products with a playful, personal, and individualised character, all manufactured with high-performance ingredients and true colour innovation,” the statement continued. Zara Beauty aims to accommodate all skin tones with their 51 foundation colours.

British makeup artist Diane Kendal, who has designed some of the most iconic catwalk looks from New York, Paris, and Milan, oversaw the development of the line of products for the eyes, lips, face, and nails. It is the outcome of more than a year’s worth of virtual communication between Diane in New York and the team in Spain.

“I saw an opportunity to create something that everyone would want to use when Zara invited me to head the design direction of Zara Beauty. With a range that is hygienic, refillable, and affordable for everyone, I wanted to extend Zara’s broad appeal to the beauty market, explains Diane Kendal.

Refillable goods are an intriguing aspect of the collection because they encourage consumers to reuse rather than repurchase. The product prices are competitive, ranging from Rs 490 to Rs 2590, with refillables costing less. All markets where the packaging is sold have confirmed it to be free of cruelty.

According to Research & Markets, the Indian beauty and personal care market is anticipated to be valued $24.53 billion in 2022 and to reach $33.33 billion by 2027, increasing at a CAGR of 6.32 percent. This comprises cosmetics and make-up, bath and shower goods, oral care, hair care products, skin care products, and equipment and accessories for beauty.
